The sexual assault case, which took place in Düsseldorf, Germany, was a young man holding Ukrainian and Moroccan passports.
According to the victim, he was in the exhibition hall where the refugees were placed, handed over a glass of wine by the suspect, and after drinking it, he did not remember anything, and when he woke up in the morning, he found that his genitals had "serious pain and injury", and after examination by doctors, he found that he had "traces of sexual abuse".
Also in Düsseldorf, Germany not long ago, an 18-year-old Ukrainian girl who had just escaped from the war was placed on the local hotel steamship "Oscar Wilde" and was gang-raped by two men. The girl later fled to Poland because she felt insecure in Germany.
In response, German REP Andrea Lindholz said the police must do more to avoid similar cases, "by inspecting accommodation, especially to ensure the protection of Ukrainian women", and warned that the authorities must "take immediate action".
In fact, the above cases are not an isolated case. In Romania, Hungary, Poland, Germany and other European countries, ukrainian women and children refugees have been abducted and trafficked frequently. With the influx of Ukrainian refugees, while volunteers across Europe are willing to lend a helping hand to Ukrainian refugees, it also gives opportunities for traffickers, pimps and other criminals who have been operating across Europe all year round.
Earlier, police in Wroclaw, Poland, arrested a 49-year-old man on charges of rape, and he lured a 19-year-old Ukrainian female refugee to his home to rape him on the pretext of providing a shelter. It is reported that there are many similar sexual assault cases like this that have not been recorded. It has also raised concerns about the security of the Ukrainian refugee community.
In such a chaotic environment, the european and American countries' approach to how to resettle Ukrainian refugees is difficult to compliment. Originally, Poland and Hungary were resisting the EU's "refugee apportionment", however, in the early days of the refugee crisis, the German foreign minister said that the EU would fully accept Ukrainian refugees. The President of the European Commission immediately said it was ready to accept refugees.
Because of this, Poland, Hungary and other five Ukrainian neighbors have all opened their borders and temporarily accepted refugees as transit countries, allowing them to flow in the direction of Germany, the Czech Republic and Austria. However, Germany itself engaged in "infighting" at this time, wanting all these refugees to remain in Eastern European countries.

Do these politicians really not understand where the root causes of refugees are? Not really. In fact, they understand better than anyone that the initiator of all this is the United States itself, but the European Union does not dare to directly resist the hegemony of the United States, but instead pushes these internal contradictions to some small countries, but does not dare to take responsibility, for fear of "setting fire to the fire."
If the EU really wants to solve the Ukrainian refugee problem, it should strengthen its position, resolutely defend its interests, and say "no" to the "power" of the United States, so as to truly calm this conflict and allow Ukrainian refugees to return home at an early date.
