Shi Ningshi was a Qiyang person, commonly known as Ning, but his name was no longer known, and the habit at that time was to start with a monk with a common surname as a certain teacher, so his name was Ningshi. He was a very ordinary monk, and his comings and goings were no different from ordinary monks.
In the early years of tang zhaozong (the 20th emperor of the Tang dynasty, reigned 888-904), the monk Ningshi lived in a mountain monastery and died suddenly one day, lying in bed, but his body was not bad, as if he was asleep. The monks were a little confused, they didn't know whether he was dead or alive, and they didn't dare to collect the funeral and burn him, so they kept him for three days, and they didn't think that he had woken up and come back to life. Everyone was amazed, and when he regained his energy, they asked him what was wrong?
He said, "In my dream, I was pursued by the priest and taken to a judge, who turned over the roster and said to his subordinates, 'This monk you have brought with me is now destined to die, and see what the book says.' The subordinate official replied that this person had very little food, only three loads of dried lotus leaves. The judge then asked someone to write it in the book.
The judge also asked the subordinate officials to take Ning Shi on a tour of that place and walk around. Entering a gate, I saw several large halls inside, each of which had signs hanging on the outside with words on them.
Walk to the front of a large hall, and the big book Li Ke uses three words on the card. Looking in through the crack in the window, there was a black dragon inside, blind in one eye, and a large pillar in the temple bound the black dragon. Walking to the outside of the second hall, the big book Zhu Quanzhong on the card, still looking through the window slit, inside was a white-fronted tiger with a blue hair, which was tied to a large pillar, and there was a tiger eating people in front of it leaving a mess of blood. The third hall sign reads Wang Jian, and inside there is a golden bed on which lies a jade rabbit. The plaque in the fourth hall reads Li Maozhen, wearing a high crown like a king, surrounded by handmaidens. The fifth hall says Yang Xingmi, but the darkness inside is not clear.
Master Ning asked what was going on with the strange human beasts in these halls. The subordinate officials replied that those who would be kings in the future. There were many great halls farther away, and the past was dark and hazy, but the subordinate officials did not want to take him on a further tour, and took him back to the previous place.
The judge told the subordinate officials that after the visit, he would take the Monk Ningshi back, but the monk would recite the Sutra of Merit more in the future. Puzzled, the monk asked what the Merit Sutra was. The answer is the Diamond Sutra, which is extremely powerful in saving suffering in the underworld and is incomparable to other scriptures.
Then he suddenly woke up and looked around for a long time before he knew he was back in the human world. The events in his dream were so horrified that the people who heard it told the government, but the Qiyang magistrate thought that the dream was too absurd and no one believed it.
Later, Li Maozhen was indeed crowned the King of Qin, dominated Longyou, and once kidnapped Tang Zhaozong. Li Ke often kills innocents indiscriminately, and people give him the nickname One-Eyed Dragon. Zhu Wen (Zhu Quanzhong) replaced the Tang Dynasty and seized the throne of Emperor Tang, brutal and murderous, he was the most famous prisoner of war in history, no different from a tiger. King Jian of Shu (former Emperor Kaiguo of Shu) belonged to the rabbit, and after the tang dynasty, he supported the army and consolidated himself, and Tianyou Ding established himself as emperor during the reign of Ding Di, decorating his bed with gold. These all coincided with Ning Shi's dreams.
After that, when the monks of Ningshi came to eat, they could eat and drink lotus leaf soup, and the other meals would vomit backwards as soon as they entered the mouth, and they could not eat it.
After this incident became famous, people in the Gansu area of Shaanxi often invited Ningshi monks to meditate in order to predict the auspicious and evil blessings, and there was never a mistake. People rushed to ask him to fast, offering him with the young lotus leaves in the clean pool. At that time, people claimed that he was a monk who had entered the meditation, and later the Monk Ningshi was destroyed in Qizhou.
Shi NingShi. Qiyang people also. Dead in name. When the surname is called the ear. There is no constant source of the comings and goings as a monk. It is the green white-fronted tiger lock as before, and there is a bloody mess of the eaters. The second signature is Wang Jian. Lying on the golden bed is a white rabbit. The second signature is Li Maozhen. Crowned like a king. Count the maids left and right. The second signature is Yang Xingmi. The window is paralyzed and black and cannot be scrutinized. Ask the Messenger. What an evil of these strange beings. The future king also. The side hall was gloomy. The Prophet shall not be allowed to be brought back to the Institute. The Office of the Judges is called the Messenger. Good to send back the teacher. But recite the Sutra of Merit more. Ning asked. It is the Merit Sutra. Vajrapani is like a donkey. This sutra is incomparably powerful. And wake up. Look around for a long time. It's about the past. The hearer was shocked and heard of the official. Hou Qi Shuai was strange and arrogant. None of them believe it. Hou Hou Mao Zhenguo was enfeoffed as the King of Qin. Li Ke used the Indiscriminate Killing Horn Cyclops Dragon also. Zhu Shige was born in Tang Ming. Mutilate Ann Ren Fu Wing Choose Flesh. Not a tiger. The King of Shu built a rabbit to block the army from self-consolidation. Tenyu Ding 卯僣伪 number with gold ornament beds also. All in line. It is no different from the Later Tang Dynasty when Ma Xun saw the Heavenly Symbol and took King Lu as the Son of Heaven. The inscription of the object in the hall that Ning saw finally corresponded to its description. It's called a dream. Dreams come in. It is called a divine journey. Wandering is not false. Will be aware of the dream alone. There is something special about clarity. Such as taking the cloud. When you are dreaming and so on, there is only knowledge everywhere. There is a dream of the ancient mangguo sleeping for fifty years, and the dream is the truth and the enlightenment is the delusion. If the one perceives what he does is a precursor to the dream. And take it from a dream. Authentic also. Dreams are used instead. Ning Shi is not a delusional person. Guoliang Ge Tang Ming. The second Li King Yang all competed with tianzi.
