Muqam performance, whether in the city or in the countryside, shows its characteristics of integrating song and dance, singing and dancing, indulging in joy, and forming a feast of musical song and dance.
Known as the "Pearl of the Silk Road", the Twelve Muqams have a deep relationship with a mysterious woman, this Muslim talented woman is the princess of the Yarkand Khanate, Amanisha Khan.
In the preface to the History of Musicians (written in 1271 A.D., 1854 A.D.), written by Mullah Asmutula Mujizi of Hetian, Xinjiang, muqam said: "From kings to poor people, from saints to pagans, all people get excitement and entertainment from this musical form. ”
Through the layers of fog of history, I saw the shining Princess Amanisha Khan.
Amanisha Khan was the princess of Rashid Khan, the second khan of the Yarkand Khanate. She is a legendary female poet of the Uyghur people, but also a talented and able to sing and dance, she is the collector and arranger of Uyghur classical music "Twelve Mukam".
The Yarkand Khanate was founded in 1514 AD, and its capital was in what is now the old city of Shache in Xinjiang. During the Yarkand Khanate, which lasted for more than 160 years, Shache once became the political, economic, cultural and artistic center of Xinjiang and Central Asia. The combination of Islamic civilization and the land of the Western Regions began to breed the flowers of civilization.
The elegant and versatile second-generation Khan, Rashid, once went hunting in Taklamakan along the Yarkand River. In the ordinary village on the east bank of the Yarkand River, he was impressed by the talent of the 13-year-old Amanissa Khan and brought amanisha, who was 23 years younger, into the Khan's palace.
With the support of the Khan King, Amanisha Khan and the chief musician of the court, Kodir, spent a lot of time collecting, sorting, standardizing, and creating Muqam, so that the Uyghur Muqam had a new look. The first standardized Muqam Suite, a total of 16 pieces, later evolved into the Twelve Muqams, which is the source of the Twelve Muqams, and Amanisha Khan is the veritable mother of the Twelve Muqams.
In 1986, Muqam also went abroad for the first time, walking into the British BBC radio program, which aroused the world's attention to it.
In November 2005, the Twelve Muqams were selected as the third batch of UNESCO Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
After the lunar exploration satellite "Chang'e-1", which was successfully launched by the mainland, reached the orbit around the moon, in space 380,000 kilometers away from the earth, there were 12 muqam parts of the 30 tracks broadcast to the earth.
At the age of 34, Amanisha Khan died in childbirth. A gifted Muslim woman shone her talents on the artistic canopy of that time, leaving her seat in the artistic hall of the sinification of Islamic civilization.
She is not only a musician, but also a Muslim female poet, author of many works of poetry, music, calligraphy and aesthetics such as "Exquisite Psalms", "Beautiful Sentiments", "Consultation of the Heart" and so on.
After the death of Amanisha Khan, her loved ones wrote a poem of remembrance for her: "O morning wind, bring the secrets of my heart, please send my greetings to my lover." In the morning or at dusk, you approach her side, please relay my thoughts about her day and night. ”
The light emitted by Amanisha Khan made me constantly think, what should people pursue in their lives?
