The U.S. supplies the Ukrainian military with the latest Switchblade drone known as the Tactical Kamikaze
The entire arms package includes a total of 100 Switchblade drones, known as tactical kamikaze drones, capable of launching self-detonating attacks when a target is spotted.
Switchblade is a small drone that fires from a pipe like a mortar shell and can stay in the air for 30 minutes before being sent to a target tens of kilometers away. It can allow remote control with the help of real-time GPS until it is guided to hit the target and explode.
The United States will allocate an additional $800 million, along with the previous $200 million, specifically to provide defense systems and weapons to Ukraine. The package includes, inter alia, the supply of 800 Stinger air defense systems, 2,000 Javelin anti-tank missiles, 1,000 light armored weapons and 6,000 AT-4 anti-tank systems.
