IT House March 15 news, Lenovo today released a new generation of ThinkPad L series notebooks, including ThinkPad L14 Gen 3 and L15 Gen 3, using Intel's latest Alder Lake vPro processor, but the AMD version is still the Ryzen Pro 5000 series.
According to reports, the new ThinkPad L14 Gen 3 and L15 Gen 3 have been replaced with new molds, and the screen bezel is narrower, achieving a higher screen ratio.
The new notebook is smaller and lighter. The old ThinkPad L14 Gen 2 weighs 1.67 kg and is 0.8 inches (about 20.32 mm) thick, while the L14 Gen 3 plus now weighs 1.39 kg and is 0.74 inches (about 18.8 mm) thick. The oldEr ThinkPad L15 Gen 2 weighs 1.93 kg and is 0.83 inches (about 21.08 mm) thick, while this year's L15 Gen 3 version weighs only 1.76 kg and is 0.78 inches (19.81 mm) thick.
In terms of screen, the ThinkPad L14 Gen 3 features a 14-inch FHD low-power display with a brightness of 400 nits. The ThinkPad L15 Gen 3 features a 15.6-inch FHD display with a brightness of 300 nits.
The Lenovo ThinkPad L14 Gen 3 and L15 Gen 3 Intel editions will be available in May 2022, starting at $929 (about 5917.73 RMB), while the ThinkPad L14 Gen 3 and L15 Gen 3 AMD editions will be available in April 2022, starting at $869 (approximately RMB 5535.53).
