Long Yusheng (1902-1966) was known as Mu Xun (木勋), who was known as Mu Xun (慕潣), and in his later years he was known as Mu Xun (慕匫). Born on April 26, 1902 in Wanzai, Jiangxi Province, he died in Shanghai on November 18, 1966, and was a professor at Jinan University, Sun Yat-sen University, Central University, and Shanghai Conservatory of Music.

Long Yusheng's lexical achievements, along with Xia Chengtao and Tang Guizhang, are among the most prestigious lexical masters of the 20th century. He is the editor-in-chief of the Quarterly Journal of Lexicology. He is the author of "Wind and Rain Dragon Yin Room Words", "Tang and Song Dynasty Famous Words", "Selected Famous Words in the Past Three Hundred Years" and so on.
