Developing the habit of reading is the beginning of self-change, typing the keyboard to write a diary, I have developed a new habit, writing a diary through the computer, presenting through self-media, is the welfare of the times to us.
My first career is engineering and technical management, involved in project management, for a long time do not do measurement and data, but when encountered the need to go up to the top is still competent, this is the same as reading books, the accumulation of infiltration, subtly affecting ourselves without knowing it.
Now most of my management work is done through communication.
With the front-line workers, we only need to explain specific things, and we only need to communicate with the foreman.
Most of the time with the management of the project department is to talk to them, understand their mental dynamics, solve their worries for them, let them do their best, and take care of their emotions.
What I communicate with the boss is the plan, A/B/C, the boss chooses himself, and I am responsible for tracking the implementation.
After I left this construction site in Yunnan, there was a situation in which the input cost of the site continued to rise, the output value stagnated, and the funds in the rear could not keep up.
The communication direction at this time is to adjust the plan, and provide the boss with the option of A/B/C plan, clear the obstacles in the rear for the management, and reduce the cost expenditure.
Let the project put into operation balance, stagnate the high input and low output value of the work area, expand the high output value of the work surface, the rear funds can not be counted on when the project measurement funds to meet the main purpose of the project to promote.
Although I was transferred away, I have been paying attention to the dynamics of the construction site, the plan is finalized with the boss, but it is necessary to track the implementation process, need to constantly adjust the team's implementation ideas and solve the pressure from the outside, the new project manager needs to arrange things with the front-line workers, so that the team can efficiently produce output value, the idea of preparing funds in place, so that there will be no situation where the wages of migrant workers at the end of last year cannot be paid, and the salaries of the management cannot be paid.
Different communication processes for the same thing will bring different results.
My career of more than 20 years, at the end of 2021 did not get a salary is the first time, I was temporarily replaced by other projects, engaged in a temporary change, directly put me in a circle, including me two project managers are scheduled by the company, it is obvious that the company's decision-making level and communication are problematic.
This is life, this is experience, we can't control all the risks, we have the conditions to start our own second career, just three or four hours a day to focus on the second career.
