Note: Not far from the Gulf of Mexico in Venezuela, South America, there lives a group of yellow people, whose clothing is close to ancient Chinese clothing, and their faces are similar to those pronounced Chinese in spoken language. So, who were the first Chinese to reach the Americas? Interestingly, the yellow people who are known to the Chinese as "Baishanna" in the mountains of Venezuela claim to be "descendants of medicine seekers", this "descendant of medicine seekers" - we can't help but think of Xu Fu, who went to sea on the orders of Qin Shi Huang to find the elixir of immortality. The "History of Qin Shi Huang Benji" records that in the twenty-eighth year of the First Emperor (219 BC), Qin Shi Huang toured Langya (present-day Langya Town, Jiaonan) in the east, and sent Xu Fu to lead 1,000 boys and girls into the sea to seek immortality. It was from Mount Xu (in present-day Huangdao District, Qingdao) into the sea, around the Shandong Peninsula, to the Miaodao Islands, the south coast of the Liaodong Peninsula, the west coast of the Korean Peninsula to the south, and across Jeju Island to Japan. According to the survey, there are currently 50 places in Japan where the legend of Xu Fu is circulating. In the thirty-seventh year of the First Emperor (210 BC), Qin Shi Huang came to Langya to see Xu Fu. Xu Fu, fearing condemnation for failing to retrieve the elixir of immortality, falsely claimed that he was blocked by the great mackerel in the sea and requested that he be equipped with archers to enter the sea again. Qin Shi Huang agreed to his request and arranged for people with sailing experience to carry giant fish catching equipment and crossbows to go north with Xu Fu and others, shooting a big fish and clearing the roadblocks. Xu Fu's second route to lead 3,000 boys and girls to sail was from the Shandong Peninsula, first to the Korean Peninsula, and then from the Korean Peninsula south to the Japanese archipelago, found that there was still a vast space east of Japan, and continued to sail east by boat, along the Warm Kuroshio Current in the Pacific Ocean, passing through the Hawaiian Islands and the central coast of North America, and finally claiming the throne in the Americas (Lanzhou).
