"The Galloping Age" portrays the spirit of the times with ingenuity

Details show quality ingenuity cast "ingenuity"

The TV series "Pentium Era" takes the development of new Chinese electric locomotives as the starting point, takes the journey of the older generation of electric locomotives to dream of China's rise as the main line, and tells the story of China's electric locomotives from the introduction, absorption to independent research and development, and then to the leading world, from "catch-up" to "front-runner" gorgeous turn in just a few decades.

Judging from the stills currently exposed, the meticulous control of the details of the "Galloping Age" crew can be described as "harsh". From the historical scenes of various periods and the train models of various stages, to all kinds of props and various parts, they all try to match the original appearance of history. It is understood that in order to restore the development process of China's electric locomotive industry and reproduce the craftsman spirit that several generations of electric locomotives have diligently pursued, "The Pentium Era" searches for and dispatches all kinds of trains that meet the shooting requirements from all over the country, including steam trains, internal combustion locomotives, electric locomotives and other nearly 20 kinds of trains in various periods, which will be displayed in the play. At the same time, in order to meet the shooting requirements, the crew spent a lot of money to make a number of train fronts and carriages in a 1:1 ratio, and the shooting scene became a train museum.

Tong Dawei plays the returnee engineer Jiang Xin with short hair to challenge the battle heroine

The story span of the play in "The Running Age" is as long as fifty years, and the characters in the play also experience different states of life with different ages, which is a test for the basic skills of the actors. The male protagonist Chang Hanqing is played by Tong Dawei, and the female protagonist Jin Cangliang is played by Jiang Xin. Not afraid of the challenge of age span, accurate interpretation of the character's heart, the "collision" of the two powerful actors will inevitably produce a strong chemical reaction.

In the play, Tong Dawei truly reproduces the character and charm of the first generation of electric locomotive engineers in New China, no longer the indecisive "cat father", and shows the elegant temperament and awe-inspiring style of returnee intellectuals. The heroine Jiang Xin used practice to confirm the actor's creed that "the drama is bigger than the sky": in order to be closer to the characters in the play, she exploded in a short period of time, cut off a long flowing hair, and did her best to get closer to a "combat heroine" who had experienced the smoke of war from the appearance. And this more authenticity for the cause, the dedication to art and Jiang Xin's desperate "sassy" energy also make people look forward to her breakthrough performance.

In addition to the heroes and heroines, the other roles of the play are also played by a group of young people and word-of-mouth old drama bones, Zhao Da, Liang Aiqi, Xu Xiaosa, Li Xie, Zhang Yi, Xie Bo, Chen Yiheng, Liu Xiaohai, Bai Bing, Gong Xiaohuo, Bai Zhidi, Zhu Yin and other actors to join, which can be called a rich and full "character group portrait".

"The Pentium Era" integrates the research and development process of electric locomotives into the daily lives of male and female protagonists, showing their process from knowing and loving each other to staying together and accompanying each other, and telling the youth of a generation of struggle in the most simple way. Their love for the cause and the spirit of persistent pursuit of dreams have also deeply influenced the next generation, and they continue to devote themselves to promoting the development of the train industry and making unremitting efforts to realize the dream of a strong country.

Selected by the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television's 100 key TV dramas, "The Galloping Age", with the mission of telling "Chinese stories, Chinese values, Chinese expressions, and Chinese aesthetics", after 3 years of meticulous polishing of the script, it has been filmed in many places for more than 4 months, with a meticulous "craftsman spirit" to create a drama texture with "great country weather". Previously, when it landed on the Shanghai TV Festival, "The Pentium Era" has attracted much attention, which has aroused widespread expectations in the industry. It is not difficult to see from the many stills currently exposed, whether it is the crew's diligent pursuit in the costume road, or the actors' wholehearted dedication to character shaping, it can be described as a sincere work.
