The scorpion shape is cool and easy to store and carry
Different from the previous products, Fei Yu added a portable structure to this scorpion, prepared a hard protective box with a handle, which looks very strong, the sense of luxury is instantly full, and the flagship product really has a feeling of kissing the son. The inside of the box can be very neatly fixed to place the scorpion body, tripod, quick loading plate, and various wires.
This time Feiyu Scorpion brought a new design language, by moving the gimbal control area up to the handle of the pot, and adding a knob with damping adjustment, so that the appearance of the scorpion looks more coordinated, the motor lock can also be a good fixing of the stabilizing arm, basically there is no virtual position, so in the storage state, the volume control is also very in place.
The reason why this product is named Scorpion, I think it must have something to do with its shape. The scorpion itself has two small brackets in the middle of the pot, and you can place it very smoothly on any plane after unfolding it, and the shape looks very much like a scorpion. This is quite friendly for photographers who often need to switch between high and low camera positions
For most ordinary users, including most small studios, the camera will generally weigh less than 2kg. The scorpion weighs 1.1 kg and has a load of 2.5 kg. And usually Feiyu's nominal load state is relatively low, that is, it is more conservative, and the actual load can exceed 2.5kg. For example, the weight of the machine I use every day is actually not more than half of it, so the motor strength during actual use is very large.
The fuselage comes with a special touch screen
At the same time, Feiyu also puts the main functional area on the handle, and the tail of the pot has a touchable screen, which can be operated directly with one hand and a thumb. Putting aside the APP, you can do all the operations directly on this touch screen. Slide down to have a mode switch, you can easily switch the shooting mode, as well as adjust the shooting parameters. Enter the secondary menu, you can switch between horizontal and vertical shooting, quickly select inception space and other functions, in the actual use of the photographer is still quite helpful.
Another big highlight is that the functional area has been re-planned, and the addition of the damping handwheel will bring a very delicate feel after powering up, and the parameters used to control the three-axis gimbal and camera are very handy. A total of nine buttons are distributed in various corners of the entire fuselage, and you can quickly adjust the state of the gimbal during the actual use process.
The leveling process of scorpions is also more pleasant, and the addition of a new memory small red dot can help you quickly level after taking out the stabilizer, and the overall adjustable space is also very abundant.
The endurance effect is completely worry-free
The standby time of this scorpion is more than 12 hours, and the use time is about 9 hours, and normally, the intensity of a day is completely fine. And support 18W fast charging, an hour and a half can be full. If you need a longer time to shoot, after working for a few hours in the morning, you can use the noon meal time to temporarily charge an hour of electricity, so that when you work in the afternoon, the battery is full again, enough for you to persist until the next day.
One thing is worth noting that the remaining battery power on the scorpion machine does not show a percentage number, you have to estimate it yourself, like I will feel that after a few hours of time, the scorpion will soon run out of power, but in fact, it can continue to support for several hours. Only through the link APP, you can see the remaining power in the APP, for people like me who usually don't use the APP much, but for people with a little obsessive-compulsive disorder of the remaining power, it is slightly uncomfortable.
