Recently, he was awarded the title of "Excellent Communist Party Member of Shenzhen City".

Porcelain blackmail, pulling people to the car fraud... Such "small cases" concern the safety of the lives and property of the broad masses of the people. With the masses in mind, Zhou Cong actively took the initiative to implement the deployment of the party committee of the sub-bureau to fight small cases and protect the people's livelihood, led his colleagues to carry out the work of chasing after and fighting one small case after another of people's livelihood, led the smashing of more than 20 professional criminal gangs such as porcelain touching parties and highway robberies, and cracked 190 cases of theft and robbery, effectively purifying the public security environment in the jurisdiction and effectively improving the sense of security of the people in the jurisdiction.

No effort was spared to crack small cases, and Zhou Cong dared to confront the evil forces in sweeping away criminal syndicates and eliminating evil forces, and Zhou Cong safeguarded the interests of the masses to the end. In 2020, the year of decisive victory in the special struggle against organized crime and evil forces, Zhou Cong led the Second Squadron to take the special struggle against organized crime and evil forces as the main line, successively cracked a number of serious and extraordinarily large cases, smashed 2 evil-related criminal groups and 14 gangs, cracked 69 cases involving criminal syndicates and evil forces, detained 127 people, and also made every effort to ensure that the first case involving criminal syndicates since the establishment of the Pingshan District was successfully concluded and tried.

Dealing with the backlog of important cases, Zhou Cong will never give up. For the widely concerned "Zhang Mou was abducted and sold case" cracked, Zhou Cong is still deeply impressed. In May 1995, the child "Zhang Mou" was abducted and sold, and after receiving the alarm, the Pingshan Public Security Bureau officially filed a case for investigation, but for many years it could not find a clue to solve the case. A few years ago, after Zhou Cong took over the case, through two years of unremitting research and investigation, he was able to successfully solve the case and arrest all the suspects in succession, but the abducted child "Zhang Mou" has not been heard from. In August 2019, with the support of the relevant police departments of the Municipal Bureau, Zhou Cong finally found the abducted child "Zhang Mou" for the owner of the case, which was reported by CCTV's "Today's Statement" and other special reports, and was awarded the "Top Ten Caring Events" of the 2020 Shenzhen Care Ceremony.
