Elena Zelenskaya, the same age as Zelensky, was born in 1978 and is from Krivorrog, Ukraine's second-largest steel industry.
She and Zelenskiy are campus lovers.
Although she studied architecture at university, she never worked in construction.
She says her only architectural work is "starting a family."
Yelena excelled at writing and worked as a screenwriter at the "Area 95" studio founded by Zelinsky.
The studio is the most famous, highest-rated and largest producer of entertainment, film and television programs in Ukraine.
And the sitcom "Servant of the People", which made Zelinsky famous, Yelena was also one of the screenwriters.
In Zelinsky's presidential campaign, Yelena also played an irreplaceable role.
Although she only learned from social media that her husband would run for president.
When she asked Zelenskiy why he didn't tell her, Zelenskiy's answer was "I forgot."

So our team decided to focus on specific tasks: child health, equal opportunities for all Ukrainians, and cultural diplomacy. ”
One of Yelena's main causes was the fight for women's rights.
In 2019, she launched Ukraine's international initiative to join the Group of Seven on gender equality.
In addition, she promoted the Ukrainian Women's Congress.
Her work also includes reforming the school nutrition system and raising awareness of the Ukrainian language.
Zelenskiy and Yelena have a son and a daughter, and the family life is very happy.
However, according to the Washington Post, Zelenskiy said in a speech last week:
"Based on the information we have, Russia has targeted me as the number one target and my family as the number two target. They want to destroy Ukraine politically by destroying the head of state. ”
Zelensky said in the video:

After the war between Ukraine and Russia, Yelena said on social media that she would be with her family and the Ukrainian people, "Today I am no longer panicking, no more tears."
