In his long-term artistic practice, he has created and sung a large number of works with national characteristics, including "Lift Up Your Hijab", "The Girl of Dabancheng", "Song of Avanti" and other popular songs, which are widely circulated. In 2016, Crimea won the honorary title of "Top Artist" at the 10th Hundred Flowers Awards Art Conference.

Nearly 70 years of artistic career
In 1940, Kerim was born into a literary and artistic family in Turpan, Xinjiang. His father was known as "Kim Oh Na" and his mother was a dancer.
In 1951, at the age of 11, Crime came to the army and became a literary warrior.
How did such a young child join the army? Crimean once recalled the situation when he joined the army, "The leader of the literary troupe asked me what this child would do, and I sang a folk song "Peony Khan" on the spot, and played a hand drum, and the performance was not bad, so I joined the army. ”
During that time, Crimean went to the troops to perform, often marching for more than a hundred miles. "I couldn't walk on the road, and the warriors held me and carried me on their backs. When I got to the performance, I followed to sing and dance. ”
In this way, Crimean began his military life and began his artistic career.
In 2019, he mentioned in a show that he had been in the arts for nearly 70 years.

Art is given by the people
At the age of 17, Crimean was transferred to the Cultural and Labor Corps of the Xinjiang Military Region, and then to Beijing. Many of the Xinjiang songs he participated in composing and singing became widely circulated works in that era.
Among them, "Tarim River", which Crimean participated in creating in 1964, integrates the musical styles of the three ethnic minorities of Uyghur, Tajik and Kazakh.
And the song stems from his experience of experiencing life in the Tarim River. "We patrolled with border guards and grilled fish by the river together. With life experience, we have to write songs. ”
He later said, "From life to life, this song sings the life of the frontier soldiers to defend the country, plus the melody is melodious and lyrical, in line with the laws of art, so it can be liked by everyone." ”
In Crimea's later "Fragrant and Fragrant Lamb Skewers," the roar and melody came from his daily life; and his Song of Avanti was based on the melody of a Uyghur song.
In his later years, he modestly said that art was given by the people, and that he had taken the people's songs and repaired them, and then gave them to the people, and was welcomed by the people.
I have deep feelings for Xinjiang
After Crimean's death, many people mourned online.
CCTV host Nigmati mourned through Weibo on the 3rd. Crimea, he recalls, "liked to talk to the audience, to talk about everything, from the fifties to his gullandam." Nigmati also wrote: "As long as we remember him, he has no regrets... Goodbye, Mr. Crimean. ”
In an interview with the media on the 3rd, Ke Ruanxi, The son of Crimean, admitted that his father Kerim has deep feelings for Xinjiang and has a deep affection for the land that raised him, and he once said: "As a Xinjiang person, I feel very proud. ”
