It's a pleasure to be reunited with you, and I'm Brayden, the producer of Return to Empire.

Fast forward more than a decade since Return to Empire was first met with players at the UP+ conference on May 16 last year.

Together with the players, we have experienced two deletion tests of "pioneering" and "conquest",

The recent "summit test" is also drawing to a close tomorrow.

Looking back at the three tests, players used a wealth of strategic and tactical skills,

Many wonderful battles were performed on the battlefields of the Empire, and many interesting and unforgettable stories were left behind.

In one test after another, "Return to the Empire" was gradually optimized, iterated, and became better and better.

This is inseparable from the participation and support of all players, and your feedback and suggestions provide an important reference for our optimization direction.

Just like the name of the three tests, from "pioneering" to "conquering" to the final "ascent",

Climb all the way up towards the highest goal, which is both the greatest fun of SLG games,

It is also the direction of our efforts for Return to Empire.

Let's talk about the optimization of gameplay and game experience several times, and the future direction.

Focus on gameplay optimization

Around a series of gameplay unfolding on the big map, we received many suggestions and feedback from players:

In response to the feedback of insufficient resources, we have added rich resource points that can build workshops;

In order to avoid the game being too "livery", we added a night mode to balance the player's playtime;

Players want the real-time battlefield to become more rapidly changing, we added the "crouch grass" ambush mechanism,

Make it possible to use more strategies.

In the future, we will also design more new gameplay around the large map, adding to the confrontation of the Imperial Battlefield and the player's sense of purpose.

Too few heroes and skills are also a problem that players reflect more during the test.

We combine the specific tests to ensure that the player's game experience is based on the player experience, so that the player experience more active heroes and skills.

After the launch, we will continue to introduce more new heroes and skills, providing more possibilities for the lords' lineup matching and skill selection.

In response to player feedback on the problem that the central state gameplay is not rich enough and the confrontation is not fierce enough, we have designed a series of gameplay:

The addition of barbarian bosses adds obstacles to the expansion of the lords' power;

The addition of the Imperial Icons contributed to the intensification of the confrontation between the Alliances;

The system and nation-building of alliance satisfaction are set to enhance the sense of common purpose of alliance members and promote alliance members to fight for collective glory.

In the future, we will continue to optimize the skill effects and numerical values of the barbarian BOSS to make the BOSS battle more intense and exciting;

We will also continue to adjust the location of the Imperial Icon and the attrition of the Declaration of War Order to make the combat experience in the Central State more fluid and rich.

There are also many players who feedback that they want more strategic and tactical scenarios,

So we combined the elements of RogueLike to design the Imperial Military Exercise gameplay:

We want players to push the limits of their strategic choices and push forward layer by layer.

In response to the problems of mounts that players have feedback more in the previous test, such as "difficult to obtain cultivation materials" and "the price is too high",

We made The Imperial Exercise an important way to get mount materials and optimized the mount system's build-up experience.

Imperial military exercises are not yet perfect, we will focus on the follow-up optimization of military exercise buff types, level gameplay, and ally assistance mechanisms.

At the same time, more boss battle modes will be added to enhance the richness of gameplay.

Gaming experience optimization

From "pioneering" to "climbing the peak", we arranged a special person to record and sort out the bugs and suggestions of player feedback for each test.

In addition to fixing these bugs, we are constantly optimizing the gaming experience:

In terms of the novice experience, we will still strengthen the guidance of novice players,

And with some protection and incentives to help players get through the early game better:

For example, for players who have suffered losses in the novice period, care and encouragement;

Add special barbarian boss challenge rewards and more.

The interface and visual effects display are one of the most intuitive factors affecting the player experience,

We will optimize the UI interaction and display of the military exercise gameplay in the future.

Continuous optimization of map strongholds, building nameplates and health bar displays in dense states;

In terms of battle scenes and skill effects, adjustments and optimizations will continue to be made to bring players a more immersive visual experience.

We will also provide players with more detailed guidance through a series of optimizations.

Ability to easily cope with difficulties in the game, such as adding new skills to recommend heroes, making skill selection easier from now on:

The use of graphics, videos and other forms to provide players with interesting and useful strategy content, so that the lineup collocation, playing is no longer difficult.
