This meaningful picture appeared on the streets of Guangzhou on the afternoon of January 26 this year, the 24th of the Waxing Moon. On this day, Zheng Hongbiao was invited to the small square of Shaji Community on Lingnan Street in Guangzhou's Liwan District to give the first party lesson of the New Year to party members and the neighbors, and at the same time to send the word "Fu" and the Spring Festival for the neighbors. Holding a model of the red boat, he tells the story of the red boat and the faith and original intention of the Chinese Communists. However, what was even more unexpected was that after the speech, there was an unexpected situation, and the students rushed to the speaker Zheng Hongbiao like a tide and asked him to sign a souvenir. After Zheng Hongbiao signed dozens of students, he felt that it was difficult to end the scene, so he took up the microphone and loudly promised: write and give away an inspirational calligraphy for every student on the scene. The students reluctantly dispersed after they had the expectation of "red ink treasure".
In the face of the deeply infected media reporters, Colonel Zheng called this enthusiastic scene "chasing the red tide". He said with deep feeling: There was a worrying phenomenon for a period of time, and some teenagers were popular to chase entertainment stars, chase small fresh meat, and chase "stars". However, since the "Eighteenth National Congress" of the Communist Party of China, it has become the consensus and practice of the whole society to pay more attention to the development and dissemination of red resources, continue the red bloodline, and inherit the red gene. Especially on the day of celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the red education of young people in the whole society, especially in schools, is more powerful, more solid and effective. In fact, Colonel Zheng himself is a veritable "red chaser". He specifically invited a model of a red boat from the South Lake Museum in Jiaxing, Zhejiang. At the beginning of 2021, he held the red boat model in his hand and moved the pace of his red speech to Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Yunnan and other parts of the country, and by December last year, he had given 81 speeches, although it was disturbed by the epidemic, he was determined to complete the plan of 100 speeches to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the party and the "20th National Congress" of the party.

It was the spring of 43 years ago, when the war in the southern Xinjiang of the motherland was ignited, and although Zheng Hongbiao's Xiamen garrison did not participate in the battle as a whole, it was necessary to select the backbone of the battle to be in the line of fire. Therefore, he was enthusiastic and determined to participate in the self-defense counterattack. There are two reasons written in the war book: first, my father is a veteran of the New Fourth Army, who has heard many stories of fighting wars since he was a child, and often fights in his dreams to defend the motherland; second, he goes to the battlefield to experience life, collects battlefield materials, and becomes a poet and a writer in the future. Writing this, I still feel that the oath is not loud enough, so I wrote the above golden oath at the end of the petition. The iron oath really impressed the leader of the company, and he got his wish and went out on the expedition with great ambition.
Five of their fellow comrades fought, sacrificing three, and only two survived, and he was one of the survivors. He did grow into a military poet and writer, and later became the editor-in-chief of the Red Army newspaper Fighter Newspaper, which was founded in Jinggangshan in 1930. He also realized the ambition of "writing heroes" and "writing heroic martyrs"!
In order to "write heroic martyrs", he carried out a grand "calligraphy project": in the ten years from 1997 to 2007, he collected the names of more than 15,000 revolutionary martyrs and buried his head in a 50-meter-long volume of "List of Chinese Heroic Martyrs in the Twentieth Century".
The name of the first revolutionary martyr on the long scroll of calligraphy is Li Dazhao. When people unfold the long scroll and see one great and magnificent name after another, everyone will be moved by it and fall into a long meditation.
Writing large-scale calligraphy scrolls requires not only calligraphic skills, but also faith and belief. After the Nineteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China, he wrote the "Report of the Nineteenth National Congress" of more than 30,000 words into a 50-meter-long small long scroll. Then he began to write the 100-meter-long scroll of the Communist Manifesto. This 43-year-old party member presented the party's centennial birthday and the victory of the party's "Twentieth National Congress" with the "three long scrolls of red calligraphy".
In 2020, in the Guangdong Provincial Social Science Popularization Poverty Alleviation Well-off Exhibition, his footsteps walked through dozens of poverty alleviation villages such as Qingyuan Lianzhang Village, and presented more than 2,000 "poverty alleviation and well-off calligraphy" for the villagers. At the same time, he specially created the theme recitation poem "2020 China Xiaokang" for the poverty alleviation exhibition, and trained and led more than 100 villagers and village cadres to recite on stage.
Over the past few decades, he has written more than 20,000 red calligraphy such as "inspirational calligraphy", "poverty alleviation calligraphy", "rural revitalization calligraphy" and "charity calligraphy", truly practicing the original intention and pursuit of "people's literature and art".
The way to victory in a century-old struggle
On April 5, 2021, Zheng Hongbiao returned to Yancheng, Jiangsu Province, to preach "Red Boat Red China - The Way of Victory in the Hundred Years of the Communist Party of China" to party members and cadres in his hometown of Longgang Town.

His "Red Recitation Poem" is unique in the Chinese poetry scene
In the course of our party's one hundred years of struggle, there have been two very similar red poems. The first one appeared in 1928, which was the "righteous poem" of the revolutionary martyr Xia Minghan: beheading does not matter, as long as the doctrine is true. Killed Xia Minghan, and later people.
More than 50 years have passed, and in the early 1980s, a self-defense counterattack battle in southern Xinjiang that shocked China and foreign countries has just passed, officers and soldiers are shedding blood and sacrificing, and they are standing guard, while local youth have begun to initially enjoy the fruits of reform and opening up. In this situation of contrast between the military and the localities, some officers and men have developed the idea of "suffering losses when they are soldiers." How to solve the ideological problem of suffering losses as a soldier? A young Communist Party member opened the book "Revolutionary Martyrs' Poems" in painstaking thought, and Xia Minghan's "poem on righteousness" touched his inspiration, he simply replaced the word "beheading" in Xia Minghan's poem on righteousness with the word "loss", so another very similar poem was published in the "Warrior Newspaper" on February 17, 1982, and then this poem was circulated in border defense, and then spread throughout the country, becoming a strong voice of the times. This second small poem is Zheng Hongbiao's "war poem" that imitates Xia Minghan's "righteous poem":
It doesn't matter if you suffer losses, as long as the doctrine is true; I am a person who has lost me, and I am happy for a billion people!
Since then, Zheng Hongbiao has begun to create military poetry, especially in the past ten years, he has created a large number of red recitation poems, becoming a unique red recitation poet in the poetry world.
On February 4, 2019, 1,600 calligraphy and painting artists gathered together at the Spring Festival Gala of "Ink Danqing" organized by China Education Television, and Zheng Hongbiao took the stage to recite his original red recitation poem "Your Yearning, My Faith" with young recitation artist Zhang Songsong. That stunning 5 minutes amazed the calligraphers and tv viewers. Because, he took the stage to recite and perform the original recitation poems created by himself, while the 50-meter-long "Nineteenth National Congress Report Small Kai Long Scroll" written by him was scrolled on the huge LED screen.
The famous phrase "always take the people's yearning for a better life as the goal of struggle" inspired him, so he created "Your Yearning, My Faith" for the Guangzhou Red Exhibition and Performance Activities, and performed more than 500 red scenic spots such as the site of the Third National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the former site of the Guangzhou Peasant Movement Training Institute. The poem has become famous and has been staged in more than 1,000 performances at various evenings and red exhibitions across the country.
To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the party, he not only presented 100 red speeches, but also created 100 red recitation poems. Theoretical workers and professors of the Academy of Horse Used Theoretical Methods to Express the Party's Beliefs and Thoughts, while Zheng Hongbiao used "poetry" and poetry when expressing the Party's beliefs and thoughts. His poems are recognized and sought after as soon as they are shot.

From the double quenching of "war" and "tide"
Zheng Hongbiao's family is a red heritage home. His father, Zheng Guohua, was a veteran of the New Fourth Army and participated in the Battle of Huaihai, the Battle of Crossing the River, and the Battle of Liberating Shanghai. In 1976, he took the gun in his father's hand and joined the army and participated in the self-defense counterattack battle in southern Xinjiang, which shocked China and foreign countries. His daughter Zheng Fangxing and son-in-law Tan Ruixing, both young Communists, took the initiative to defend the motherland's Nansha Islands in 2013. Three generations of a family have served the country with blood, highlighting the inheritance of the red bloodline.
In a unique environment, Zheng Hongbiao, under the double tempering of the fire of self-defense and the tide of the era of reform and opening up, went from the company to the regiment, division, and group army organs, all the way up to the organization department of the political department of the former Guangzhou Military Region, and then to the Red Army newspaper "Soldier Bao", which was founded in Jinggangshan in 1930, successively served as the editor and editor-in-chief, and was awarded the rank of colonel by the Central Military Commission in 2002.
