The BMW M4 CSL will be released in May

According to overseas media reports, the new BMW M4 CSL model will be officially released in May this year. The M4 Thunder Edition, which was previously based on the new generation of BMW 4 Series, was officially launched at last year's Shanghai International Auto Show, and the M4 CSL model is based on the car, further pursuing the ultimate lightweight, and upgrading the engine power and aerodynamic kit, which is a higher performance version of the model.

Since last year, foreign media have successively taken spy photos of the new BMW M4 CSL model. In terms of appearance, the new car as a whole continues the exterior design of the M4 model, but some details will be adjusted. For example, the grille of a new car is not decorated with multiple horizontal black trims, but a more concise shape. At the same time, the front lip design of the new car is more prominent, and the sides are also equipped with integrated spoilers to further reduce wind resistance and increase the downforce of the front of the car.

From the spy photos, the new car will have a larger side skirt, and the wheel shape is also significantly different from the M4 Thunder Version, including the bumper design at the rear, which shows that the new car attaches great importance to aerodynamics. It is reported that the new car compared to the M4 Thunder Edition will reduce the weight of the car by at least 100 kg, which means that the new car will use more carbon fiber and lightweight materials and design, for a model that pursues extreme performance, the acceleration and handling improvement brought by the lighter body will effectively strengthen its performance and driving pleasure.
