Dutton and his co-party, James Patterson, chairman of the Australian Parliament's Joint Committee on Intelligence and Security, also said China should "learn a lesson" from Russia and not use force to change the status quo in the Taiwan Strait, which would have "complex results that China could not have imagined."
Australian Defence Minister Darden is an outright "anti-China" man. Prior to this, it had also stated that if a war broke out in the Taiwan Strait, Australia would send troops along with the United States. Now it has also been proposed that the situation in the Taiwan Strait has deteriorated, and that weapons will be provided to Taiwan to arm the DPP authorities. It also equates the matter with NATO's arms support for Ukraine. This clearly shows that he wants to interfere in the Taiwan issue and internationalize the Taiwan issue. However, the fact is that the Taiwan issue is an essential difference between China's internal affairs and the Russian-Ukrainian issue. China will never allow any forces outside the region to interfere in China's internal affairs. This kind of remark by the Australian defense minister is a serious provocation to China, and if it really does this in the future, it will be an act of challenging China's red line, and China will definitely not be merciful.

The subtext of this sentence is that Taiwan belongs to their sphere of influence, and they want to protect Taiwan. Now the Australian Defence Minister is speaking wildly, and this is not the first time it has been so provocative. It is also time for China to give it a tough countermeasure. Even if it is not aimed at Australia, sanctions can be imposed on the Australian defense of Darden personally.
