Selectors put the articles they think are worth circulating into a tall anthology, repeatedly or focus on people's vision, and slowly become classics, become "popular news", become "far-reaching", become part of the spiritual life of Chinese.

The "old style" poetry and song in a broad sense should have been torn apart by the new cultural people who appeared in the new cultural movement such as Hu Shi and Chen Duxiu, and have not been able to recover so far. This is also the need of the times, what kind of culture the times need, what kind of culture will emerge, and culture cannot avoid reflecting the political and economic culture and ideology of that era. In the era when capitalist industrial and commercial civilization completely destroyed China's traditional agricultural civilization, the old style of poetry and song did not have a "sanwei bookhouse" that made them worry about food and clothing.

The gentleman himself also studied. Later, our voices went down and quieted down, and only he read aloud: "Tie Ruyi, commanding a gentleman, everyone is shocked when he sits; Jin Porro, upside down, a thousand cups are not drunk..."  

Yes, the old style poetry was torn apart by the Hu Shi, which was a very pleasant thing at the time, because what was torn apart belonged to the "old literati",those so-called "elite literati", and the "elegant culture" of drinking and singing poetry and playing with prostitutes in their small circles had little to do with the millions of toiling masses. In the past, the right to culture and education was monopolized by the authorities and elites, and the right to write such poems and songs was also controlled by the officials and elites, and the common people had no way to create a set of cultural systems, folk culture, including stories, myths, songs, small plays, oil poems, proverbs and riddles... The layering of culture is very clear, and all strata of society play their own games and basically do not interfere with each other, unless the administrative forces from the official are inserted to the end, stirring up the beautiful mountains and rivers and the people of the South Mountain.

The rapid popularization of the Internet has created a new style in China, which has 650 million effective Internet users. The "cultural self-confidence" of the common people is impressive, splitting their heads and covering their faces. There are also a large number of "paragraphs" that are difficult to classify with traditional styles, almost re-dressing up the styles that human beings once had, and adding new creations to appear in people's vision. The traditional oil poems, Hidden Head poems, and embedded poems are actually considered to be appreciated by both elegant and customary, new and old. Helplessly, the ability of human beings to create genres is still limited, just like they can't pull up their hair and leave the earth, netizens can't create genres that no one has ever seen. Therefore, all they can and can do is to give new life to the old style of poetry. In these old-style poems, the innate people's and grassroots types, such as oil poetry, have obtained the right to priority development.

An interesting phenomenon is that many people who are destined to be only "grassroots" have a lingering scholar-doctor complex, and a preference for vassal style, how many years of hard work and cultivation, and can also play a few semi-intruct old-style poems. This is the backbone force that I said at the beginning to support the existence of the old style poetry. They also have a subconscious, that is, they feel that they can play with a handful of old-style poetry, as if they have become one of the elites, and even gain a sense of superiority over popular literature and art. Whose era is this? Grassroots. In the Internet age, the masses are amazing, they are no longer the villagers who have been defined and regulated by the ruling class, they are very willful, very conceited, have their own rules of survival, in fact, they have long mastered the adjudication of cultural products. Those literature and art that are divorced from the life of the times and the tastes of the public do not receive a few applause, which is very normal.

Hu Shi's "Discussion on the Improvement of Literature" of that year said:

I think that today's literary improvement must start with eight things. What are the eight things? One thing has to say. Second, do not imitate the ancients. Third, we must pay attention to grammar. Four, do not groan without illness. Five days, do not abuse clichés. Six days, no need to pawn. Seven days, do not talk about the battle. Eight days, do not avoid the colloquial words. ——Hu Shi, "Discussion on the Improvement of Literature"

This has been said for a hundred years, and most of the "masses" at that time have now evolved into "netizens". At that time, "mass literature and art" met the requirements of that era, and the current "netizen literature and art" was the mainstream form of the current era. Seven or eight years ago, the Chinese Writers Association began to take the initiative to open the door to online literature, some stereotyped network writers still refuse to enter the book, now, the era of Internet + has come, China is going to be a network power, I think the authentic old style poetry and song endowment can basically enter the museum, or as a very small number of people's bad hobbies exist freely on the line, do not be complacent because of this skill, look down on the new oil body. Because "hitting oil" is inherently popular and entertaining, it alludes to the essence of literature and art, and conforms to the people-centered concept of literature and art.
