R-Anderson: The good thing about leaving the NBA is that I can speak my mind, and I've made a lot of money and had a great time

Live Bar, July 16 , former Rockets player Ryan Anderson recently made a guest appearance on Duncan Robinson's podcast show, talking about the criticism he received when he played for the Rockets, as well as his life after retirement.

Anderson joined the Rockets in the 16-17 season, playing for the Rockets in two seasons, where he earned $18.73 million and $19.57 million, respectively. He was also criticized by Rockets fans for not matching his salary and performance.

Commenting on the criticism from Rockets fans, Anderson said: "This is actually a new thing for me, because early in my career, I have always been a humble player, used to being at a disadvantage and constantly striving upwards. For those who think I'm overpaid, I just want to say that everything I get is through constant effort, and the Rockets are willing to give me that money. We were also at one of the most successful teams in the league at the time. ”

Talking about the mentality after leaving the NBA, Anderson said: "The biggest benefit of leaving the NBA is that I can vent my emotions on the things that make me angry. I know people don't want to hear that, but the truth is I make a lot of money and live a good life. I'm lucky and enjoy everything I've been through. But to be honest, if you stand on the field and don't participate at all, the game is really not fun. When you play, you definitely want to be a part of the attack. ”

Anderson has earned $140 million in salary so far, and while Anderson hasn't played in the NBA this season, he'll receive $5.21 million a year from the Heat this season and next.
