Whether or not this season will be in the top four of the Premier League, there is no doubt that Arteta has made grand plans for the club in the summer transfer window. The London club has spent around €136 million on new players this season, and as the momentum continues, we may see more new faces ahead of next season. To do this, however, Arsenal may have to raise money by selling some players who don't meet the criteria in the upcoming transfer window. By keeping an eye on the performance of the Gunners' players this season, we've looked at which players can be sold and how much money the club hopes to make from their transfers.
Guendouzi
The first player on this list is midfielder Guendouzi, who has been confirmed to leave Arsenal in the summer. The young French talent, who has been loaned to Marseille this season, impressed club president Pablo Langria in Ligue 1 and confirmed Guendouzi will complete his permanent transfer in the summer. The young midfielder is rumored to have a transfer fee of around €10 million.
Salibah
Another Arsenal player who went on loan to Marseille and could move permanently to the south of France is Willian Salibba. Since moving to London for €30 million in 2019, the centre-back has been an unpopular substitute for Arteta. Although Salibba has yet to make it to arsenal's first team, he has loaned three clubs since officially joining the club and is currently worth €16 million. There is no doubt that if Salibba is sold this summer, Arsenal will want to get a transfer fee of 30 million euros from him.
Bellerin
Outside of France, Arsenal also have a very talented player currently on loan to Spain's Real Betis, who is former captain Bellerin and could also be sold this summer for a fairly high price. Last year, Bellerin attracted the interest of many big clubs – the most well-known of which is Barcelona – and he is likely to be sold when he returns to Arsenal this summer. Bellerin is currently valued at €9 million, but it could cost up to €15 million this summer to get him away.
Lionel
For Arsenal, Leno is a very good goalkeeper and when the summer transfer window opens he may just need a new challenge and a completely different club. Rumsdale has removed Leno from the starting position, and Leno is likely to be sold at the end of the season, his transfer value is currently 22 million euros, and Arsenal are likely to receive at least 20 million euros from the German international.
Holden
Another player who has struggled under Arteta this season is Holderin, who has proven himself to be a very capable Premier League defender, but in the eyes of the coach he is not at all as good as Gabriel or Ben White. Still, Holden's contract at Arsenal is set to last until 2024 and is currently worth €16 million. There is no doubt that if they sold Holden this summer, the club could strike a deal for the same price.
Zaka
Xhaka narrowly left Arsenal last summer when Roma were calling him and the former club captain is likely to seek another transfer at the end of the season. There is no doubt that Arteta is rebuilding his squad, so Xhaka's move this summer could be very easy. Although his value has reached 26 million euros, partly due to his contract extension, Arsenal could ask for around 20 million euros if other clubs offer this summer.
Nicholas Pepe
After a failed transfer of up to €80 million, Nicolas Pepe will almost certainly leave Arsenal this summer for a transfer fee far less than he paid when Arsenal signed him. England have reported that Arsenal are willing to mark the winger with a transfer fee of around €25 million, which is consistent with his current value of around €22 million.
