There is a story that at that time this place was very desolate, there was a man who came to this as a daotai (county magistrate), he had a good friend, a hunter, always came to his house to send him something, once this hunter hit two geese and sent him, he was not there, when his wife broke her intestines and opened her stomach, she found that there were many gold grains in the goose's belly, and asked the hunter where he had hit it, and later, from this it was the beginning of mining, and the mining began to pay tribute. Empress Dowager Cixi was very happy, and said, "The gold you mine in this land, the rouge money for all the women in my palace for a year, you will be all-inclusive in one place, so you will be given the name Rouge Ditch."
The Russians came and forcibly exploited them. Later, there were Also Japanese people to the northeast to draw a cross pickaxe in the Mohe area, indicating that there was gold here. We also interviewed locals about this.
These things, I think, until later we went to shoot these, only with some press corps, these subjects did not really heat up. So I think it is too much to call it "exploring Heilongjiang", or "discovering Heilongjiang", because there are many things that everyone thinks are very familiar, and Hegel said that "what is familiar is not necessarily true knowledge." It was through this rafting and expedition that I experienced it.
Historical records have long been clearly recorded: in 1882, that is, in the eighth year of Qing Guangxu, the Orunchun people "dug a hole in the Rilat River Valley to get several grains of gold". More precisely, the Arctic Village refers to Mohe Village, which is the seat of the Mohe Township People's Government, and there are counties above the township called Mohe County. The above names are all "transliterations" of the local natives ("Heilongjiang General Yamen File"). However, the forest fire in 1987 burned down the seat of Mohe County and Xilingji Town, the Tuqiang Forestry Bureau, and the Amur Forestry Bureau. In early June of that year, the forest fires had just been extinguished. The State Council decided to set up a leading group for the restoration, production, and reconstruction of homes in the disaster-stricken areas and its command gao.
