Zhou Helin was born in Shanghai in 1950 and is originally from Zhenhai, Zhejiang. In 1984, he participated in the fine art calligraphy training class of the Shanghai Academy of Chinese Painting, and won the first prize of the "Shanghai Municipal Staff Calligraphy seal engraving exhibition" and the "Shenlong Cup" National Youth Calligraphy Competition Gardener Award. In 1984, he was introduced by Zhao Lengyue and Qian Maosheng to join the Shanghai Calligraphers Association, formerly a calligraphy teacher at the Shanghai Children's Palace and Yichuan School Art School, and is now a painter of the Shanghai Oriental Calligraphy and Painting Institute, a member of the Art Wood of the Art Style Column of China Satellite TV, a member of the Calligraphers and Painters Working Committee of the New Literary and Art Group of the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association, and a member of the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association.
