Who is Gilgamesh?
Gilgamesh was a legendary historical figure who ruled around 2800 BC over The Uruk, the most developed ancient city-state in the world at the time. He did many miracles with wit, bravery, wisdom, persistence, and a fearless spirit of adventure. After his death, his deeds were interpreted into legendary stories, given mythological colors, and widely circulated in the ancient eastern world, lasting more than 2,000 years.
