With the peking opera "Daughter of the Party" performed at the Chang'an Grand Theater on July 1, the Beijing Opera House's "100 Operas and 100 Talents Celebrating the Centenary" excellent repertoire exhibition season was officially launched, and 29 36-performance masterpieces, including new dramas, revolutionary modern Peking Opera, traditional operas, excavation and arrangement of plays, will be staged one after another to celebrate the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.
In addition to the already performed "Daughter of the Party" and "Sha Jiabang", in July, 6 newly edited Peking Opera repertoire such as "Dazhaimen", "Song Family Sisters", "Meihua Xiangyun", "Lady City", "Luoshenfu" and "Xialu City", 3 revolutionary modern Peking Operas such as "Wudou", "Red Lantern", "Wisdom to Conquer Weihu mountain", and traditional Peking Opera "Mei Yu Match" and "Yao Period" will be staged successively. Beijing Opera House 9 winners of the Chinese Drama Plum Blossom Award, nearly 40 national first-class actors and a number of young and middle-aged actors with distinctive genre characteristics, outstanding business capabilities and active in today's Peking Opera stage will all appear.
In addition to Wang Rongrong, Du Zhenjie, Li Hongtu, Chi Xiaoqiu, Zhu Qiang, Zhang Huifang and Hu Wenge, who are loved by the majority of opera fans, the Beijing Opera House also invited the famous actor Liu Peiqi to participate in "The Gate of the Great Mansion" on July 7, the famous Peking Opera performance artist Zhao Baoxiu participated in "Song Family Sisters" on July 16 and 17, and Chen Junjie, a famous Peking Opera flower face artist, participated in "Mei Hua Xiang Yun" on July 19 and "Luoshenfu" on July 23, presenting the most wonderful performances with the best lineup.
