On the Airlines App, the first charter flights were CA701/2 and CA703/4, aircraft type Airbus A330-300, aircraft registration numbers B-6102 and B-8383, and the maximum passenger capacity was 301 seats. According to the report of Hangzhou's "City Express" at 23:00 last night, the first batch of Hangzhou students evacuated from Ukraine, Xiao Xia, learned in Romania: "We can go home tomorrow." When Xiao Xia says tomorrow, he means March 4.
On February 25, the day after the outbreak of special military operations in Ukraine, my embassy in Ukraine issued a message saying that —
At present, the domestic situation in Ukraine has deteriorated sharply, and my citizens and Chinese-funded enterprises in Ukraine are at a high security risk. In order to prepare for the return of charter flights in batches, personnel registration is now open. Charter flights are voluntary. The time of the charter dispatch is determined according to the flight safety situation and will be notified in advance.
But because of the fierce fighting, in fact, the possibility of a charter flight going directly to Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, is almost zero. Zhou Zhijun reported on the connection on February 25, once analyzed that -
It is possible to evacuate our citizens by land to a territorial country, such as Belarus, where Air China previously operated a passenger route from Beijing to Minsk (the capital of Belarus) and was more secure in carrying out charter flights. The return trip may be dispersed to some provincial capitals due to epidemic prevention needs.
On February 27, the staff of our embassy in Ukraine told the Global Times reporter that now the local (referring to Ukraine) implements strict air control measures, and if there is danger in the process of charter flight evacuation, the consequences will be unimaginable, so it is difficult to implement the plan of charter flight evacuation at this stage. Chinese citizens are currently being actively coordinated to leave the territory of Ukraine in other ways.
On February 28, the Chinese Embassy in Ukraine released a message saying that at 17:00 local time in Kiev, the first batch of international students departed from the Red House of Kiev University to Moldova and coordinated with the local police to provide security guards.
In the early morning of March 2, the Chinese Embassy in Ukraine issued another notice: At 12:00 noon on March 2, all overseas Chinese and temporary personnel who were voluntarily evacuated in and around Kiev were invited to meet at Teremky, the terminus of the Blue Line of the Kiev Metro, and then take a unified bus to Moldova. Self-driving personnel can follow the convoy.
According to the description of several international students who followed the convoy by car -
"Show out the Chinese passport, all the way to the green light, all the checkpoints will be released, thank the motherland, fortunate to be born in China, I hope the motherland prosperity."
At the same time, there are also some international students and Chinese citizens who travel to Hungary, Romania, Poland and other territorial countries by themselves by car. Xiao Xia, mentioned in the Report of Hangzhou City Express, left the southern Ukrainian city of Odessa on February 28 under the unified arrangement of the Embassy, and arrived in Bucharest, romania, after more than ten hours of buses, passing through Moldova in the middle, at 5 p.m. on March 1.
On March 2, Xiao Xia did nucleic acid. At noon on March 3, a negative result was received. At 9 p.m., she received a message that the plane would take off on March 4 (local time), one to Zhengzhou and one to Hangzhou. She chose to go to Hangzhou.
Such a description can be consistent with the flight information on the Airline Travel APP.
More charter flights are also being arranged. According to the information of the Airlines Travel APP, on March 5, China Eastern Airlines will also have two charter flights to the Romanian capital, the same type of A330-300, and the return journeys are Lanzhou and Jinan. The return flight numbers for the two charter flights are MU7126 and MU7129 (note, there is no flight number for the outbound flight). Arrivals are between 7-8am on March 6.
According to the self-media "Aviation Travel Circle", Hainan Airlines will also dispatch two passenger planes from Beijing capital and Shanghai Pudong to Bucharest on March 6, and return to Jinan and Hangzhou respectively.
According to the schedule of these flights, Romania was the main concentration of evacuations, with 2 charter flights per day for the next 3 days. According to the information on the afternoon of March 3, the official account of our embassy in Romania, as of March 2, more than 1,000 Chinese compatriots have been evacuated from Ukraine to Romania and properly resettled.
More information about charter flights will continue to be followed by Thoughtful Jun.
