Brad Pitt intervened in the "instability" between Scott Eastwood, Sheyalabov

Actors Scott Eastwood and Shea LaBeouf had a tense exchange on the set of David Ayer's Rage, apparently leading to Brad Pitt's involvement.

In a recent interview, Eastwood recalled "turbulent" moments during the filming of World War II films in 2016.

"[LaBeouf] got mad at me, and it turned into a turbulent moment when Brad Pitt ended up in trouble," Eastwood told Insider.

According to media reports, the script required Eastwood to spit on LaBeouf's tank. In the film, LaBeouf is in a tank squad led by Pete. Eastwood said LaBeouf didn't know the script required Eastwood to do so, leading him to think it was a sign of disrespect.

Clint Eastwood's son added: "I never thought your process as an actor should get in the way of how people were treated on set. ”

The 35-year-old went on to say that he preferred a scene without any hostility.

He added: "It should always improve productivity and not put people in a dirty work environment, or you're rude, or people have to be in an uncomfortable situation." ”

In an interview with GQ in 2014, Eastwood described the incident in more detail.

"I'm with Brad Pitt and I'm chewing tobacco," he said. "He didn't like what I did, so he said I couldn't spit tobacco on his tank and he asked me to clean it up. I almost told him to get out of the way and Brad had to come apart. ”

Pete recalled the incident at the time, admitting that he was also angry with Eastwood.

"We were driving on the road, I was in the turret, Hiya was in another turret, scott was spitting [chewing cigarettes] in the back," Pete said. "I started to get angry, I started to get angry because it was our home and he didn't respect our home, you know?

"So I said, in a scene where the camera is rolling, 'You're going to clean up that garbage.'" The Shiites timed it, and you have to understand that we've gone through a rigorous boot camp, and we've been through a lot in this tank. The Shiites saw it and felt the same way – he didn't respect our home. So the Shiites had the same reaction I did and started saying something. ”

It wasn't until the camera stopped turning that Pete said he knew it was in the script. "'He just did what the script was told.' So we ended up being knobs..." Pete said.

The scuffle between Eastwood and LaBeouf wasn't the only tense moment on set. El let the star of the tank crew live in the tank, which proved to be an uncomfortable experience.

"That was," Pete recalled, "very intense. ”

LaBeouf's representative did not immediately respond to Fox News' request for comment.
