The show opened in the demolished store and restaurant of Trussardi's headquarters in the heart of Milan, with the original intention of creating this fashion house, which was founded in 1911. Trussardi is one of the oldest brands of milan fashion week, and creative directors Benjamin A. Huseby and Serhat I k take the basic approach of narrating the new Trussardi chapter, which is to unveil the new Trussardi layer by layer, and the new Trussardi is unveiled.
"The Trussardi Fashion House and its headquarters, a historic building, have been neglected for a long time, like a sleeping beauty who has been sleeping for nearly 25 years. From this metaphor, we begin to narrate a story of an illusory myth intertwined with the real-life dress code of the streets of Milan. The interplay between fantasy and reality, history and present, became the cornerstone of the construction of a unique Trussardi language. "Creative Director Benjamin A. For Benjamin A. Huseby and Serhat I k, time cycles intertwine, life changes forever, and memories of the past intertwine with the present. Trussardi's iconic Greyhound logo is based on this philosophy, transforming from a linear design to a heropheryl-like head-tail intersection. In their world, hierarchies and institutions no longer exist, and traditionally solidified classes are shattered by entirely new ideas, allowing design to parallel the worlds of the past and the present. Traced back to tradition, blooming in the future.
The two designers constructed this series to cut to their surroundings and people's everyday wear. Subverting the rules of dress, paying attention to things that are often overlooked, and transforming mediocrity into curiosity are the strengths of both. In their study of milanese, Benjamin A. Huseby and Serhat I k observed that almost everyone wore a 100-gram Italian Piao Mina down jacket, a lightweight duck down jacket that was as much a daily necessity for them as a T-shirt. The two were a bit repelled by the early days of their work on italian piaomina fabrics, but the challenge of being able to design this high-quality fabric into a glamorous ready-to-wear eventually became the basis for the Fall/Winter 2022 collection. This season is rendered primarily in black and gray, with a focus on silhouettes, materials and techniques.
"Costumes have the ability to give you attention, like a 'mantello magico' (magic cloak). Your attire can make you invisible or noticeable. Like Cinderella or a superhero, a cape is armor.

The runway music blends the backgrounds of the two designers with the origins of Trussardi, opening with the German industrial music pioneer orchestra Einstürzende Neubauten (translated as "the new building that collapsed"), played as an instrument using a pneumatic drill. Ends with a song from the musical LaGatta Cenerentola ("Cinderella Cat"), a Neapolitan musical adapted by musician Roberto De Simone from a 17th-century fable fairy tale (later known as "Cinderella"). The intense drumming of German industrial music intertwines with Italian folklore, and the mirrored myra wall surrounded by the catwalk ripples. Like magical glass, it connects the past with the future to form an eternal cycle.
