On September 28, six associations, including the Henan Writers Association, the Henan Dramatists Association, the Henan Qu Artists Association, the Henan Film and Television Artists Association, the Henan Folk Writers Association and the Henan Literary and Art Critics Association, held a general meeting in Zhengzhou.
Li Xin, secretary of the sub-party group and vice chairman of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, and Zeng Deya, executive deputy director of the Propaganda Department of the Henan Provincial CPC Committee, attended the meeting.
The meeting fully affirmed the outstanding achievements made by various associations since the last congress, expounded the important position of literary and artistic work in the development of cultural undertakings in our province, and discussed and analyzed the new situation and new opportunities facing the development of literary and artistic work at present. In the past five years, literary and art workers in our province have taken the production of fine works and classics as the goal, strengthened the medium- and long-term planning for the creation of fine literary and artistic works, organized major theme creation projects, brought into play the role of literary and art awards in demonstration and leadership, actively sought to use various support policies, carried out key author counseling and work polishing, and emerged a large number of outstanding works with "bones and bones, morality, and temperature".
The meeting elected a new leadership team of 6 associations.
Shao Li was elected chairman of the Henan Writers Association, and Ma Sufang (Yu He), Wang Anqi, Feng Jie, Liu Haiyan, Du Junxiang (Du Ya), Zhang Xiaoxue, Zhang Mingming, Zhao Kehong, Zhao Libo, Hu Lanlan (Lan Lan), Nan Feiyan, and Ge Yimin were elected vice chairmen.
Li Shujian was elected chairman of the Henan Dramatists Association, and Ding Jianying, Wang Hui, Wang Hongli, Shen Xiaomei, Li Jinzhi, Yang Shuaixue, Xiao Xiulian, Wang Quanzhen, Fan Jing, Jin Buchang, Jia Wenlong, and Jiang Yuhong were elected vice chairmen.
