The on-site command headquarters coordinated the dispatch of 4G communication vehicles to ensure the transmission of unmanned aerial vehicle signals, ensure 24-hour uninterrupted monitoring, grasp the movement of elephants in real time, and scientifically guide the elephants to move south; strengthen safety precautions, set up a working group to enter villages and households to carry out Asian elephant warning propaganda, take emergency measures such as road control and emergency evacuation, strictly control the safety risks and hidden dangers brought about by the masses watching, and do real human and elephant safety precautions. On the same day, a total of 202 emergency response personnel and police forces were put into operation, 106 emergency vehicles, 5 excavators and other engineering vehicles, 19 unmanned aerial vehicles were dispatched, 3572 people from 879 households were evacuated, 2.36 tons of elephant food were fed, and 618 vehicles and 1754 people were persuaded to return.
