"Spring Snow"
Don-Han Yu
The New Year has not been fragrant, and grass buds have been seen in early February.
The snow is too late in spring, so it wears the garden tree as a flying flower.
The poem was written in 815 (Yuan and 10th years), when the author Han Yu was revising it at the Imperial History Museum. For Han Yu, who had been to Lingnan, the spring in the north came a little later, and it was not until February that grass buds grew, and the author wrote this poem by drawing on cen Shan's "White Snow Song". "The snow is too late in spring, so it wears trees through the garden as flying flowers." The two sentences ostensibly say that there is snow and no flowers, but the actual feelings are: people can still wait for the late spring color, see the figure of spring from the grass buds in February, but the snow can't wait, and they actually fly up, wear trees and flowers, and decorate themselves with a spring color, full of joy, rich in strong romantic colors, which can be described as the stroke of God. "But I hate", "old wear", how beautiful and spiritual the spring snow is portrayed.
