Exposure RTX 4090 power consumption up to 850W!

According to foreign media Wccftech, the GeForce RTX 40 series graphics card that will be released in September this year may break the TDP power consumption of 800W.

According to the latest revelations from Twitter @Kopite7kimi and @Greymon55, the AD102 flagship GPU may consume more than 800W of power.

Both whistleblowers pointed out that the AD102 flagship GPU will be used on multiple SKUs such as the RTX 4080, 4080 Ti, and 4090.

It looks like they'll set different target power, and the entry-level SKU has already reached 450W, followed by a Ti derivative of about 600W, and an even more amazing 850W flagship SKU.

@Kopite7kimi and @Greymon55 have a good track record of breaking news, and Nvidia intends to compete with AMD's "RDNA 3" GPU through the RTX 40 series "Ada Lovelace" graphics card that doubles the performance, and the credibility of the N card power consumption is still quite high.

To usher in the next generation of graphics cards, several power supply manufacturers have demonstrated the new PCIe 5.0 module line. If the RTX 40 Series flagship graphics card consumes more than 800W, consumers need to prepare more than kilowatts of PSUs, as well as two 16-pin PCIe auxiliary power lines (or two 8-pins to transfer separately).
