In September 1986, Yu Chunhong was admitted to Xi'an Jiaotong University as the first place in the science department of the Tianquan County College Entrance Examination. To this day, Yu Chunhong's name is still engraved on the tianquan local "Champion List".
After graduating with a bachelor's degree, Yu Chunhong became a master's student in nuclear reactor engineering and safety at Xi'an Jiaotong University, and three years later, she was admitted to the university as a doctoral student majoring in thermal energy engineering. In 1993, during the summer vacation of the year when Yu Chunhong was admitted to the Doctorate, he took Yu Zhihua to xi'an to visit the Bell Tower and visit the campus of Jiaotong University. Having such a sister, Yu Zhihua felt very proud.
In 1994, after the Spring Festival, Yu Zhihua left Sichuan to work in Guangzhou. When she returned home in 1995, she learned that her third sister had been missing for nearly a year.
Bizarre disappearance

"At that time, the leaders of Xi'an Jiaotong University asked their parents to go home first and wait for news from the school." Yu Zhihua said that after his parents went home first, they contacted the school authorities many times, but there was no result.
During the period, Yu Zhihua's family also searched through Yu Chunhong's friends and classmates one by one, but there has been no news.
In the next ten years, his parents never took the initiative to talk to Yu Zhihua about finding the third sister, but Yu Zhihua knew that the disappearance of the third sister was an eternal pain in the hearts of his parents. In 2009, Yu Zhihua's father died of cancer, and in 2012, his mother died in a car accident, and the two left with eternal regrets.

Therefore, Yu Zhihua re-reported the case at the Xingqing Road Police Station of the Beilin Branch of the Xi'an Municipal Public Security Bureau, at this time, it has been exactly 21 years since the disappearance of the third sister, and the best time to find someone has passed.
Because Yu Zhihua knew that the third sister had the habit of writing a diary, Yu Zhihua asked the school to provide the third sister's letters, diaries, books, clothing and other personal items, but the school said that the relevant items had been lost.
Among the lost items, including the sister's passbook. According to the relevant documents provided by the school to Yu Zhihua, after the third sister disappeared, the school retained her student status for one year, and the subsidy was paid on time every month until May 1995.
