Education for young people is an important content of the mainland's socialist rule of law construction, an important component part of legal popularization education, and an important foundation for ruling the country according to law and governing the country with ethics. Therefore, in order to better strengthen the publicity and education on the rule of law among young people, enhance their awareness of the rule of law, guide young people to form a good concept of the rule of law, improve the legal literacy of primary school students, and further broaden their legal horizons, at 9:00 a.m. on February 22, the children of the second class of the fifth grade of Jinjiang Primary School in Chongzhou City, led by Principal Huang, Principal Luo, Class Teacher Chen and Teacher Lu, came to the Chongzhou Municipal People's Court to observe the trial of the real case.
The case in this trial is a case of "accommodating drug abuse", and the trial is carried out in a serious and orderly manner. During the trial, the children listened attentively, took notes intently, recorded their feelings, watched the trial investigation, evidence presentation and cross-examination, court debate, defendant's final statement and other trial processes, and personally felt the whole process of the trial of the case. This case of "accommodating drug abuse" shocked their hearts and experienced the seriousness, solemnity, fairness and justice of the court.
After the trial of the case, the judge kindly analyzed the case and stated what drugs are and the harmfulness of drugs - destroying themselves, harming the family, endangering society and related laws and regulations; at the same time, telling the real telecommunications network fraud cases that occurred in Chongzhou City, reminding everyone that the scam is always around us. Considering the children's ability to understand, the trial judge also tried to slow down the speed of speech, explained to the children in more straightforward language, tried to let them fully understand the content of the speech, and could accurately and clearly publicize it to their families, friends and people around them. Subsequently, the judge gave the children books and materials on staying away from drugs and preventing fraud.
Finally, Principal Luo put forward earnest hopes for the children; they should cherish time and life, study well, set goals, publicize the legal knowledge they have learned today, and contribute to legal education. The children were inspired to use the highest etiquette of the Young Pioneers to thank the court judges for their silent efforts.
In this activity, the children's hearts were deeply touched and they had a more intuitive understanding of illegal and criminal acts. They said that by observing the trial of the case, they have enhanced their awareness of the rule of law, self-protection, and security precautions, and have also fully felt the authority and seriousness of the law, benefited a lot, and will certainly abide by the rules and discipline in the future, and be a good student who studies the law, understands the law, abides by the law, and uses the law.
