Janice Robinson is poised to get back in the spotlight as she re-releases her '90s rock dreamers.

Livin' Joy's iconic dance music can still be heard in nightclubs across the UK as it first dropped for almost 30 years, and now that the 54-year-old has added a modern element to the tune, she is ready to share her 'positive vibrations' with a new generation.

The female singer still uses the song's motto "Love Life and Laughter" as her life guideline, and she hopes to entertain a whole new audience after working with DJ Lodato to add new elements to the song.

In an interview with The Mirror, she said: "It's great to post it to a new generation and see how they're combining with it — it's for the new kids."

Janis, who currently works as a teacher in the United States, also hopes that the latest version of the hit movie will help other stars who are already "tired" of the industry understand that leaving is only "part of building your tapestry."

The mother of two acknowledges that it's easy for people to "leave and never come back," but she believes her recent comeback can show newcomers that even if you're not number one, your career can last.

"Kids now want everything," she admitted. "I just want them to know never to give up."

She insists that you should be "always ready for the magical moments in life," adding: "You have to be grateful for them when they're here, and you have to enjoy them when they're gone, and that's why I'm learning to enjoy life."

Janis also revealed that her career is now even more special as key people around her are inspired by her story and proud of her journey.

Janis suspended her career to ensure she was with her children during their formative years while caring for her sick parents, who had been diagnosed with kidney failure and congestive heart failure.

Now, after the sad death of her parents, watching her daughters enter puberty — 19-year-old Kura and 13-year-old Amaya — she's ready to go back in time.

She admits her comeback has given her children and students an "amazing feeling".

"It inspired a lot of people," she proudly revealed.

She added: "When you have the talent to bring joy to people, it doesn't matter what year or era it is. I will be back in 2022. I wrote Dreamer in 1993.

"I love seeing people smile. I love seeing how happy people look when they hear my music. ”
