According to the relevant person in charge of the Science and Technology and Finance Section of the Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment, the science popularization base is an important place to practice Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization, display the scientific and technological achievements of ecological environmental protection and the practice of ecological civilization, and is an important position to popularize the knowledge of ecological environment science and technology to the public, publicize the achievements of ecological civilization construction, and improve the ecological and scientific and cultural quality of the whole people. It mainly includes venues, nature reserves, enterprises, industrial parks, scientific research institutes, education and training and other categories.
The relevant person in charge said that the national ecological environment science popularization base requires distinct ecological environment characteristics; there is an ecological environment science popularization exhibition venue, the display content and technical means are at the leading level of units of the same nature; open to the public, with a certain scale of reception capacity; with a full-time department to carry out science popularization activities, equipped with full-time and part-time ecological environment science popularization personnel; with an annual ecological environment science popularization work plan; with fixed ecological environment characteristics of science popularization activities; with stable science popularization work funds, Ensure the operation of science popularization venues and the development of science popularization activities; have the ability to plan, create and develop ecological environment science popularization publicity works; have websites, WeChat, Weibo and other external publicity channels.
The relevant person in charge said that our Dazhou is located in Bashan, which belongs to the subtropical humid monsoon climate type, with a mild climate, four distinct seasons and high forest coverage, which is very suitable for the survival of various animals and plants. At present, there are more than 5,000 species of wild plants, belonging to 201 families and 1269 genera, with many species, wide distribution, large number, and both north and south plants, among which there are as many as 31 species of rare protected plants. Therefore, Dazhou occupies a unique advantage in the declaration of the national ecological environment science popularization base, and there are many points with declaration conditions, and the Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment will also actively strive with the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau to let more national ecological environment science popularization bases land.
