(2) The breeding strategy of short-tailed stingrays is very interesting, males will frantically "plant strawberries" on females during the estrus period, and they will use their 45-55 tiny teeth to frantically ramm the female fish's body surface, and even cause the female to fragment, but this behavior will stimulate the female's desire to mate. After fertilization, the female will give birth to 6-10 juveniles in the form of egg fetuses, and feed the juveniles with the nutritional tissue they secrete, sometimes jokingly referred to as "fish milk".
(3) Although the short-tailed stingray has a relatively mild personality, they still have a tail stinger that cannot be underestimated, these tails are about 30 cm long, composed of 1-2 stingers, the stingers are very sharp, can easily penetrate the wetsuit, and leave a fatal tissue necrosis and similar rapid scurvy symptoms, and Mr. Crocodile fell to this poison during the filming of "The Deadliest Creature in the Sea"
