Start with a nylon rope
Chen Jianlong is a native of Changle, who has worked as a car blocker, mechanic, and salesman. In the early days of reform and opening up, Chen Jianlong, like many Changle people, threw himself into the "grassroots industry" and set up a mosquito net factory and a knitting factory. With the rapid progress of Changle's economy, Chen Jianlong has cultivated a forward-looking vision and boldness in the process of climbing and rolling, and his career has risen step by step.
In March 2003, Chen Jianlong founded Changle Liyuan Nylon Industrial Co., Ltd., which invested heavily in the introduction of the world's most advanced German Bamag spinning equipment and officially entered the nylon industry.
Dare to be the first, the source of force is getting better and better. Because of advanced equipment and technology, Liyuan has won a huge cost advantage: a ton of nylon products, the production cost of Liyuan is only more than 2,000 yuan, and competitors still want more than 8,000 yuan.
"We can surpass our former idols because we dare to try and innovate. This equipment update and technological change is subversive for the domestic nylon industry, and peers have followed suit. Chen Jianlong said. In October 2005, he also founded Changle Liheng Nylon Technology Co., Ltd., with a total investment of 3.5 billion yuan. The scale is getting bigger and bigger, but there are still many troubles - the upstream (sliced) industrial chain of nylon spinning is missing, and it is choked by people.
"Before 2009, Chinese mainland nylon enterprises basically imported slices from BASF in Germany and Taiwan in mainland China. I want to do aggregate slices and change that. Chen Jianlong said.
In March 2008, Liheng landed on the Singapore Stock Exchange and became the first listed company in Changle. Subsequently, a huge investment was made to launch a 200,000-ton polymerization project. Work hard to tackle the key problems, and finally win. On September 6, 2009, the project successfully started up at one time, and successfully aggregated the first half-light nylon 6 slices. Making up for the shortcomings of the upstream, they have since bid farewell to the history of being subject to people.

Advance upstream and break through monopoly
In June 2010, Chen Jianlong initiated the establishment of Hengshen Synthetic Fiber Technology Co., Ltd., and integrated Liyuan, Liheng and other enterprises to form Hengshen Group.
With the expansion of the scale of the industry, Chen Jianlong once again felt that the "throat" was subject to the difficulty of people. At that time, the raw material for the production of nylon, caprolactam, had long been monopolized by several international chemical giants such as the Royal Dutch DSM, and the domestic market basically relied on imports, and the external dependence was as high as 70%. "At the time, it was entirely up to the seller to decide. We don't take the money to 'buy', but to 'beg', begging them to sell me. He said.
With a tragic mood, he made a vow to make his own caprolactam: "If you can't break through caprolactam in this life, I'm sorry for this industry." ”
In March 2013, Hengshen landed in Lianjiang Kemen Development Zone, with a total investment of 40 billion yuan, to build the Shenyuan new material project, planning to build a world-class polyamide integration project with an annual output of 1 million tons. After 5 years of arduous negotiations, Hengshen finally reached an agreement with DSM of the Netherlands, which has the world's most advanced caprolactam production technology and management system, which provides the latest HPO plus technology and related production processes.
Docking the world's most advanced technology, let Shen Yuan stand on a high point as soon as he sets off. "HPO plus technology has been successfully used and put into production in Nanjing DSM in China, which is relatively mature. This laid the technical foundation for Shenyuan's development, allowing us to produce high-end caprolactam together. Chen Jianlong said.
After Shenyuan landed, the investment effect of the industrial chain appeared. Air Liquide Group, a Fortune 500 company, followed suit, investing US$420 million to build a plant to provide hydrogen, synthetic ammonia and other industrial gases for the Shenyuan project. Earlier, the Kemen Power Plant under China Huadian Group, a Fortune 500 company in the Kemen Development Zone, was specially transformed to provide low-pressure steam for Shenyuan.
Hengshen's cooperation with DSM of the Netherlands has laid a solid foundation for Chen Jianlong's acquisition of DSM's global caprolactam business. In September 2015, DSM Sold a 65% stake in caprolactam (later renamed Fubont Holdings) to the CVC Equity Fund for strategic transformation reasons. In 2018, hengshen became the preferred fulbent buyer of CVC equity fund with successful caprolactam production experience and perfect industrial advantages, and completed the equity delivery. So far, Hengshen has the world's leading caprolactam production technology, becoming the world's largest caprolactam supplier.

Introduction of advanced equipment

Over the years, Hengshen has been continuously committed to the construction of the group's "digital brain", with advanced information system construction as the basic platform for enterprises to realize intelligent manufacturing. In 2016, Hengshen introduced the international advanced "SAP ERP" management system, which integrates the data sets of manufacturing, R&D design, marketing management, logistics and warehousing.
At the same time, Hengshen continues to promote the construction of enterprise digital management system, enterprise business intelligent management, comprehensive budget management, capital management, sales order management, WMS logistics management, manufacturing execution, management of big data analysis, information interaction and other systems have been launched and implemented, and ERP jointly formed Hengshen "digital brain", to achieve "production, supply, marketing, people, finance, material" data real-time acquisition, can generate various types of data reports at any time. In 2017, Hengshen built a fully automated packaging system in the packaging room of the functional modified fiber workshop with an annual output of 40,000 tons, realizing the semi-automated packaging process of "automatic unpacking - automatic weighing and labeling - automatic sealing and packaging robot palletizing - warehousing".
In 2018, the joint venture company Henan Shenma Nylon Company launched the construction of automated packaging lines and three-dimensional warehouses, which were officially put into use in June 2020, and have realized the robot automatically grasping silk cakes, automatic bagging and palletizing, automatic film wrapping labeling and transmission to the balance workshop and three-dimensional warehouse.
On the afternoon of February 7, the provincial party committee and the provincial government held a private entrepreneur forum in Fuzhou, at which the big men in various fields proposed good strategies and sought development, and contributed to the private economy of Fujian.
