In Iron Man 2, Don Chandel replaced Terrence Howard as General James Roddy and has remained in the Marvel Cinematic Universe ever since.
When Tony dies in Avengers 4, Roddy and other Iron Man friends face this dilemma:
Who should iron man's armor and other technologies be handed over to? What if it falls into the wrong hands?
Spider-Man 2 has already answered one of these questions, and Peter Parker accepts Edith as the heir to Iron Man technology.
Another question will also be answered in "Armored War", and the character of Roddy will also be more three-dimensional in this play.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Don Chandel said the future of his role will be a whole new dimension.
"It's great that the upcoming (future) is a whole new dimension. This will be the first chance to really understand who he is and what his motivation is. ”
However, Chandel also revealed in Collider's interview that he had no idea what the plot of "Armored War" would look like.
"All I know is that we're going to get into the (screenwriter's) room in a couple of weeks and start trying to break the skeleton of the story and figure out who, what, and where to do it all."
"The series is still in very early development, so even if I wanted spoilers, I couldn't. I don't even know what to expect. ”
