Murphy is one of the best snooker players in the world, but Murphy is also well versed in golf and darts. And Sean Murphy believes he's the only one who can complete the sports world's "big three difficulties" – a 147-point shot at a snooker table, a nine-darts on the darts board and a hole in the golf course.

Murphy became a World Champion in 2005 and for many years he was one of the top players on the Snooker Tour. Outside the table, however, Murphy has a great interest in golf, and he is a "don't let go" player. In the interview, Murphy also revealed that he was a skilled darts player.

All three sports, snooker, golf and darts, have an overwhelmingly highest achievement, namely 147 points, one hole and nine darts, yet Murphy proudly claims that he has accomplished all of them, and he considers himself the only one currently achieving all three.

Asked about the "three difficulties" hat-trick he completed, Murphy said: "That's true, I think I'm the only one currently completing these three challenges and I don't know who else can do it." Murphy went on to reveal that he realized he had done both while jokingly discussing which of 147 points or 9 darts was harder with former darts pro and Sky Sports host Wayne Mader, in addition to playing a hole in golf.

Murphy said: "Wayne Mader is a former professional darts player, he is a good friend of mine and he is now a commentator on Sky TV. We're always talking about which is harder, 9 darts or 147s. Obviously, it's a little harder to be 147. Anyone who says nine darts are harder needs to look at their brains right away..."

"The last time we talked about this, I thought that a hole in the hole should also be counted, and suddenly I found out that I had completed all three challenges. I don't know who else has done all three. If anything, everyone is welcome to send their creations in any way and join this 'hat-trick' club together. ”

Although golf can only be regarded as Murphy's hobby, he also revealed that thanks to his "don't let the club" he once participated in the British Open qualifiers. "A friend of mine said, 'You're not giving up the bar now, you can play in the Open Qualifiers,' and I couldn't believe it until I went online to check the rules of entry,' Murphy said.

"I sent out an application to play and was allowed to play, and my friend Robert Murphy (not a relative), who was probably Ireland's best amateur snooker, came to me on qualifying day to be a caddy. We had a wonderful day outside. We were like intruders of an unfamiliar world, but we did. Of course, since it's an Open, the tournament is open to everyone. I was very happy to be there, it was a great experience. ”
