On the evening of February 19, sui Wenjing/Han Cong lived up to expectations in the figure skating pairs free skating competition at the Beijing Winter Olympics and won the 9th gold medal for the Chinese team!
The "Onion Barrel Combination" has attracted much attention from the moment of its birth. In 2007, at the age of 12, Sui Wenjing began pairing up with 15-year-old Han Cong to practice pair skating. In the more than a decade since, the pair's tried-and-true combination has swept all the titles in the country, but only one Olympic gold medal is missing, the most recent of which was 0.43 points four years ago.
