In order to enhance the fire safety awareness of children in the community and improve the ability to prevent self-help, on the morning of February 11, the New Era Civilization Practice Institute of Yijing Street, Taiyuan City, together with the Yijing Street Safety Supervision Station and the Consumer Safety Office, carried out a fire drill activity with the theme of "Bring Love Home - Sending the Law home" in the Yixiang community.
On the day of the event, the experts vividly and meticulously explained to the children "how to dial the 119 fire alarm telephone", "how to use the fire extinguisher" and "how to escape correctly after a fire". After the explanation, the staff organized the children to carry out a fire evacuation drill. As the alarm sounded, the children cat waist, hands, cuffs, wet towels and other items covered their mouths and noses quickly and orderly emergency evacuation, and counted the number of people after the first evacuation to safety.
This activity enhanced the children's awareness of safety and fire prevention, further mastered the emergency escape ability to deal with sudden fires, and also trained the emergency evacuation and handling ability of community workers in the face of fires.
