In yesterday's LCK Spring Games, both T1 and GEN beat their opponents 2:0. Fully body Gen crushed LSB, and in T1 vs. KT, Faker also achieved a career record of 1,000 races. To this end, Faker made an exception and generously invited guests:
To commemorate the 1,000 games, I will be giving away fried chicken to the fans who came to help. From 4:00 PM, show your tickets at the fried chicken shop at LOLPark (LCK Esports Venue) to get fried chicken!
Please continue to support me and my team in the future!
Faker recorded 1,000 races 2-0 and became the second player to reach the milestone, behind his high school classmate: Deft.
In a post-match interview, Faker also talked about his feelings:
Faker: Our team did a great job in the regular season, winning streak all the way. The record of 1,000 games shows that I played a lot of games, so I was also surprised by this milestone.
When asked which game was most impressive in the game of his career. Faker replied: It should be the 2013 Summer Finals against KT, and the double robbery battle between Ryu and me will still be mentioned by many viewers.
(Ryu: It was also the most memorable battle of my career, how the game is not cold... )
At present, T1 has a nine-game winning streak, and for the next game, Faker said: We have also made mistakes in recent games, and it is not easy to maintain a winning streak. We are lucky that we can maintain our current results, and we will put more effort into continuing to win consecutively.
