O'Sullivan's girlfriend, Leila Roas, posted wednesday that she had broken up with O'Sullivan, who had been in love for a decade.

In a tweet, Roas thanked fans for their "kind care" and said the breakup "wasn't necessarily a sad moment."
Lyra, 50, shared her vision for "new adventures" and expectations for a "happy hometown" on her Instagram Stories.
On Wednesday night Beijing time, Roas posted on Twitter to announce the end of his relationship with O'Sullivan. She tweeted Thursday: "Regarding a breakup, it doesn't have to be a sad moment. It can be the beginning of a new adventure, a new learning. It can be a wonderful mentor. Learn to care for yourself and still be able to pursue a new happy life without the company of a lover. At the end of the tweet, Lyra thanked her fans for their "kind concern" after learning the news of the breakup.
After the breakup tweet, Roas continued to promote her upcoming seminar called "Self-Care" next month.
Introduced by O'Sullivan's father, Roas met O'Sullivan in 2012 and became engaged the following year. In 2019, O'Sullivan and Roas said in an interview with The Mirror that they were not in a hurry to get married.
"I have to really be ready for the wedding before I think about it. At the moment, getting married isn't our top priority, we're enjoying our own two-person world, so there's no rush. ”
O'Sullivan's ideas are similar to Roas's, adding: "From a legal point of view, the importance of marriage has come to light as we get older, but we are not bad for now." ”
"If there is no problem in itself now, then why draw a snake to add to it?" If maintaining the status quo works, why change it? ”
O'Sullivan continued: "We've been engaged for a while, so we know we want to be with each other and I'm sure we'll have a chance. ”

According to Roas in a 2016 interview, her acquaintance with O'Sullivan stemmed from her father's connection while looking for a house.
"It was a coincidence that his father showed me Ronnie's house and he told me that Ronnie wanted to meet me. Ronnie called the real estate agent, who was a friend of mine, and asked me out through her. ”
"When my friend said he was a snooker, I said 'Oh, but what does he do?' I had never heard of him because I wasn't interested in sports at all, and in the end it was Ronnie who got me interested in snooker. ”
The Mirror has contacted O'Sullivan's agent, but O'Sullivan has not commented on the breakup.
