The Tan county magistrate had to release the old man who was still alive and hang Zhang Heihu from his mother. In the earth-shaking cry of sorrow, Zhang Heihu heroically ascended to heaven.

Legend has it that Yushan was the place where Dayu stopped when he ruled the water, and Zhang Heihu was righteous here, and his name was passed down like Dayu. Because the day of his sacrifice is the Qingming Festival, in order to commemorate him, the people here do not burn fire and eat cold food on the Qingming Festival. On the first day, the Qingming vegetables are picked and taken home, steamed with rice or grain flour, and then made into Qingming rice dumplings, and eaten cold the next day. It has long been a custom. After liberation, this custom was diluted, and then gradually disappeared due to the unhygienic eating of cold food.
