Notice of new members for the year 2021
Member units of each group:
In accordance with the "Detailed Rules for the Entry of Individual Members of the Jiangsu Calligraphers Association" and the relevant matters related to the development of members of the Provincial Book Association, the relevant requirements for the declaration work are hereby notified as follows:
Please notify local members who meet the membership requirements to apply for membership and collect and summarize relevant materials, and sort out and bag each paper material.
The applicant should collect and truthfully fill in the "Jiangsu Calligraphers Association Membership Application Form" (the application form should use the latest version, fill in the specifications according to the requirements of the form, fill in the handwriting neatly), submit the proof of artistic achievements (award certificate, exhibition certificate, copy of the title certificate, thesis, the original of the work, etc.), and attach two 2-inch ID photos (one posted on the application form, the other with the name written on the back and floated on the top of the posted photo), and a copy of the ID card. If the name of the ID card does not match the name on the proof materials of the artistic achievement, the relevant certification materials shall be issued, and those whose procedures and materials are incomplete shall be deemed to be inconsistent.
Please organize the application personnel of each group member unit to fill in the membership application registration electronic form truthfully as required, and the declaring individual fills in the electronic form of declaration and sends it to the group member unit to which it belongs, and the group member unit summarizes and sends it to the provincial book association mailbox: [email protected].
After the members of each organization have collected the paper materials for the membership application, they will sign their opinions and affix their official seals in the two columns of "Ideological and Political Performance" and "Opinions of the Association" on the membership application form, and send them to the Provincial Book Association before March 20.

After reviewing all the application materials, the Provincial Book Association determines the list of new members who have passed the review. The Provincial Book Association will issue the approved list and the notice of payment for new members to the group member unit, and after the group member unit collects the membership fee, the provincial book association will handle the membership card in a unified manner, and the group member unit will forward it to the individual.

Rules and Conditions for Individual Membership (Trial Implementation)
(Adopted by the Fourth Presidium of the Fifth Session of the Jiangsu Calligraphers Association on May 31, 2021)

In order to further deepen the structural reform and promote the prosperity and development of Jiangsu calligraphy, these detailed rules are revised in accordance with the provisions of the Charter of the Jiangsu Calligraphers Association and combined with the actual development of members.
Any citizen of the People's Republic of China who has reached the age of 18, is a citizen of the People's Republic of China who is a citizen of Jiangsu Or who works or lives in Jiangsu Province, who supports the Constitution of the Jiangsu Calligraphers Association and meets the conditions for membership, may apply to join the Jiangsu Calligraphers Association (hereinafter referred to as the "Jiangsu Calligraphers Association").
1. Declaration requirements
Applicants who meet one of the following five categories of conditions can declare membership in the corresponding category and cannot declare across categories.
(1) Calligraphy creation
Those who have a higher level of creation should meet one of the following conditions.
1. Provincial exhibitions sponsored by the Jiangsu Book Association, such as the Jiangsu Provincial Newcomer Calligraphy seal engraving works exhibition, the Jiangsu Provincial Seal Exhibition, the Jiangsu Provincial Character Engraving Exhibition, the Jiangsu Provincial Women's Calligraphy seal engraving works exhibition, the Jiangsu Provincial Elderly Calligraphy Seal Engraving Exhibition, etc. are included in the exhibition once or more, subject to the provisions of the call for papers.
2. The Xth National Exhibition of Calligraphy and Seal Engraving Works, the National Special Exhibition, the National Calligraphy Exhibition, cursive calligraphy, the Xingshu, the Seal Calligraphy, the Lishu and other individual calligraphy exhibitions sponsored by the China Book Association, the Chinese Book Newcomers Exhibition, the National Women's Exhibition, the National Youth Exhibition, the National YangLian Exhibition, the National Fan Noodle Exhibition, the National Album Exhibition, the National Big Character Exhibition, the National Seal Engraving Exhibition, etc., and the National Exhibition with the participation of the China Book Association to sponsor the national exhibitions that meet the conditions for joining the Association.
3. In order to reflect the care for the elderly calligraphy creation group, the works submitted by authors aged 65 or above can be included in the exhibition once and sponsored by the Jiangsu Book Association, subject to the provisions of the call for papers.
(2) Calligraphy theory
Those who have high achievements in theoretical research should meet one of the following conditions.
1. The papers of the "National Book Science Symposium" and the Symposium on Special Book Science sponsored by the China Book Association were selected once.
2. Long-term engaged in calligraphy theory research, in the humanities and social sciences academic journals recognized by the Jiangsu Book Association, calligraphy professional newspapers and periodicals (such as "Chinese Calligraphy", "Calligraphy", "Calligraphy Series", "China Calligraphy Newspaper", "Calligraphy Herald", "Calligraphy Newspaper", etc.), published papers with high academic level and influence, of which one academic core journal or two or more other professional newspapers and periodicals, each word count is not less than 5000 words, in line with academic norms, and must be identified by the Jiangsu Calligraphers Association Organization Theory Expert Group. Co-authors of papers, only the first authors can apply.
3. There is an academic monograph on calligraphy published by the national regular publishing unit, which shall be recommended and evaluated by the members of the presidium of the Jiangsu Provincial Book Association, and shall be identified by the theoretical expert group of the Jiangsu Provincial Book Association. Co-authors, only the first author declaration.
(3) Calligraphy education
Engaged in calligraphy education, have significant achievements or outstanding contributions, and meet the following conditions:
Engaged in calligraphy education in colleges and universities, primary and secondary schools and part-time educational institutions for more than 15 years, with professional titles of education, literature and art, group art and above, and must be discussed and identified by the presidium of the Jiangsu Provincial Book Association.
(4) Calligraphy news and publications
Engaged in calligraphy editing and publishing, professional media work, with significant achievements or outstanding contributions, and meet the following conditions:
Have worked as an editor or full-time reporter in professional calligraphy newspapers, periodicals, publishing houses or official calligraphy websites at or above the provincial level for more than 10 years, and have a professional title of deputy senior or above in the category of news and publication, and must be discussed and identified by the presidium of the Jiangsu Provincial Book Association.
(5) Calligraphy organization
Engaged in calligraphy organization work, with significant achievements or outstanding contributions, still on the job at the time of application, meet one of the following conditions:
The organization workers who have been the deputy secretary-general (resident) or above of the members of each group have served for more than 5 years, and the chairman of the county (district) book association has served for more than 5 years, and has achieved outstanding achievements in their posts.
2. Declaration method
In principle, individual membership development is carried out once a year. The individual shall apply and truthfully fill in the "Membership Application Form" and prepare relevant artistic achievement certification materials. The application form and materials for membership shall be submitted by the applicant to the member unit of the group to which he belongs. The members of each group shall strictly check in accordance with the rules of the Provincial Book Association, and after reviewing the ideological and political performance of the applicant, affix the official seal of the group member unit and report to the Jiangsu Calligraphers Association. Members of each group shall submit the "Application Form for Membership" and related materials to the Jiangsu Calligraphers Association within the prescribed time, and the overdue period will be included in the approval procedure for the next year.
The membership development work shall be strictly examined and approved by the Secretariat Of the Provincial Book Association in accordance with these Detailed Rules and the results shall be reported to the Presidium of the Provincial Book Association for approval.
The interpretation of these detailed rules belongs to the Jiangsu Calligraphers Association.
