The Son knows the way of a gentleman

"The way of a gentleman, the cost and the hidden." The foolishness of the husband and wife can be known to (yù) and its ultimate, even though the saints are also ignorant; the unworthiness of the husband and wife (xiào) can be able to do it, and the extreme, although the saints are also unable to do it. The heavens and the earth are great, and people still have regrets. Therefore, the gentleman's language is big, and the world cannot carry it; if the language is small, the world cannot be broken. "Poetry" cloud: "The kites fly in the sky, and the fish leap in the abyss." 'Say it up and down. The way of a gentleman is to make a husband and wife, and to be the best of it, to see the heavens and the earth. ”

"The way of a gentleman is omnipresent and difficult to discover. Couples with low learning can also learn a little, to its extreme, even the saints are a little confused; men and women with weak abilities can also do some, and to its peak, even the saints are a little unable to go up. The heavens and the earth are so vast, people are still not satisfied. So when a gentleman says that it is big, nothing under the heavens can hold it; that if it is small, nothing under the heavens can penetrate it. The poem sings: "The kites fly long in the sky, and the fish soar into the abyss." It means looking up at the heavens and looking down at the geography. The gentleman's monastic path begins in the marriage of men and women, the birth of children, to its extreme, to gain insight into the heavens and the earth, to nurture all things. ”

●Fee: Use, large use, wide use. Master Lotus Yi's "Zhongyong Zhizhi" said: Everything is fei, and fei is hidden.

● With knowledge: Participate, learn a little, understand a little.

●To: The highest point, the consummation realm.

● Can't: Visible, moderate can't also. In order to be completely moderate, the saint is also a little powerless. However, the saint has no heart, and takes the heart of the people as the heart; how to take the heart of the people as the heart is to "take the people as the dog", to see the people's hearts and not to fall with the public opinion, not to fall with the wind, but to fall with the saint, "the virtue of the gentleman, the virtue of the villain" (The Analects). If the "holy" person has a heart, it is a "strange", that is, a hidden monster. Saints do not think of themselves as saints, do not have the heart to be saints, but naturally, do nothing, and achieve great success. In this way, the middle way, it does not matter whether it is possible or not. And if the middle way is not the middle way, it is indispensable.

However, moderation may indeed be small or small. However, the one mentioned here is not big or small, not medium size, but very large and very small, from large to small. Big, big enough to have no edges, no outside. If there is no outside, there is no inside. Without the inside, it is extremely small. So, the biggest is the smallest. The biggest, everything is inside. Minimal, no inside, nothing. If there is nothing, you can't get in, because there is no inside, there is nothing. Without the inside, there is no outside. Without the outside, you can't hold it, wrap it, grab it, tie it up, you can't put it in a bag of whatever. So the smallest is the biggest. Say big, you can't hold it. Say small, you can't get in. So it's not just a moderate size. If it is such a moderate, the problems will be great, and there will be many flaws.

The most large to the smallest such a moderate is too big to imagine, too small to be incredible. What about medium size? Nature is all in it. Therefore, moderation is not big, not small, not small, and can be big, powerful, and small. Size is two extremes. If it is really extreme, it must be extreme, and the big will get the biggest, and the small will get the smallest. When it comes to extremes, big is infinitely large, small is infinitely small, and medium is infinite. Infinitely large, there is no outside. Without the outside, there is no inside. wonderful.

Infinitely large is infinitely small, because infinitesimal is nothing inside. The two poles are not only connected, but also completely equal. Big is small, small is big. The largest is the smallest, and the smallest is the largest. It's not big or small. No big, no small, no hit. Therefore, if you want to go to the extreme, no one dares to go except the moderate, infinitely large, infinitely small, infinitely good, infinitely beautiful, dare not imagine, and dare not pursue. "It is the gentleman who does everything to the extreme." This is the middle way of "University", the real extreme way.

Those who specialize in extremes are gentlemen who love to pursue perfection. Villains are anti-moderate also. This little man is a gentleman who has changed. The gentleman was originally a villain. The two extremes of the great and the small are completely equal, so what about the middle pole, that is, the extreme and the small. Everywhere is the middle way is the middle, everywhere is the great, everywhere is the extreme.

If the book is smaller, I'll draw a little shorter. Doesn't matter. Length has no meaning, just a gesture. It's okay to tap it. One point, it is infinitely long. I can fit an infinite number of points on a number axis. This is true of the number axis, and it is also true of the complex number plane.
