From 0 to 24:00 on February 16, 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 92 new confirmed cases. Among them, 57 imported cases (22 cases in Guangdong, 9 cases in Shanghai, 9 cases in Shandong, 4 cases in Zhejiang, 4 cases in Guangxi, 3 cases in Fujian, 2 cases in Jilin, 2 cases in Sichuan, 1 case in Henan, 1 case in Yunnan), including 8 cases from asymptomatic infected people to confirmed cases (4 cases in Guangdong, 1 case in Zhejiang, 1 case in Henan, 1 case in Guangxi, 1 case in Sichuan), 35 cases in local cases (16 cases in Jiangsu, all in Suzhou City; 7 cases in Liaoning, all in Huludao City; 7 cases in Guangdong, including 6 cases in Shenzhen City, 1 case in Guangzhou City, 3 cases in Inner Mongolia, Both are in Hohhot City; 1 case in Guangxi, 1 case in Baise City; 1 case in Yunnan, in Dehong Dai Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture). There were no new deaths. There were 3 new suspected cases, all of which were imported from abroad (all in Shanghai).
On the same day, 91 new cured and discharged cases were cured, 3,013 close contacts were released from medical observation, and the severe cases were the same as the previous day.
There are 731 confirmed cases (including 1 severe case) imported from overseas, and 3 suspected cases. The cumulative number of confirmed cases is 13,201, the cumulative number of cured and discharged cases is 12,470, and there are no deaths.
As of 24:00 on February 16, according to reports from 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, there are 1,420 confirmed cases (including 7 severe cases), 101232 cured and discharged cases, 4,636 cumulative deaths, 107288 confirmed cases and 3 suspected cases. A total of 1567039 close contacts have been traced, and 29,006 close contacts are still under medical observation.

A total of 39,692 confirmed cases were reported from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Among them, there were 19,881 cases in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (15,234 cases discharged from hospital, 227 deaths), 79 cases in Macao Special Administrative Region (79 cases discharged from hospital), and 19,732 cases in Taiwan Region (13,742 cases discharged from hospital, 852 deaths).
