Tranquility is the righteousness of the world.
Through serenity and calmness, the Dao maintains order in the universe.
It is the right way and the right way, and the right way in the world lies in purity and quietness. Quiet people, without being deliberate, just go with the flow, they can achieve success.
Quiet people, outwardly polite, stable as Mount Tai, quiet and indifferent on the inside, like the deep sea. Quiet, contains great power. The person who can keep the quiet is a person with great strength, and the quieter the stronger the power.
Quiet is the great virtue of heaven and earth, Lao Tzu said in the Tao Te Ching: "He who has gained one in the past, the heavens will be clear, and the earth will be peaceful." ”
In the past, those who received the way: the heavens were enlightened and clear, and the earth was given the way and tranquility.
Without the Tao, there would be no clarity in the heavens, and there would be no tranquility in the earth. Tranquility is the great virtue of heaven and earth. All things in heaven and earth are purified before they exist and develop, grow and flourish.
A seed, without being dormant in the dark soil, without this period of quiet and self-preservation accumulation, the seed cannot break through the soil and sprout.
The power of the seed comes from its ability to keep quiet. From the moment it lands, the seeds remain in a hard shell. When it falls into the soil, the seed waits for the opportunity in the dark silence, and once the spring thunder sounds and the spring rain drops fall, the seed explodes with amazing power and breaks out of the soil.
People think that places that are lifeless will soon be covered with seeds and full of green life. What is the most powerful thing in the world? Seeds of plants.
The greater the resistance, the more downward the roots of the seed are. The further down, the more stable the root system of the seed becomes, allowing it to absorb more nutrients and continuously provide upward strength.
One yin and one yang are the Tao, the static pole is moving, and the moving pole is still in the heavens and the earth. When it is quietest, it contains the most powerful force. This is true of heaven and earth, and it is also true of all things in life.
It is precisely because Zhuge Liang has practiced his realm of "indifference to Mingzhi, tranquility to the farthest", that in the quiet, he has obtained that brilliant wisdom and amazing strategy.
In the "University", it is said: "Knowing and then there is concentration; concentration and then there is stillness, stillness and then peace, peace and then worry, worry and then can be obtained." ”
If you can't calm down, your heart won't be stable, a sinister heart can't think through, if you don't think well, you won't get what you want, and impatient and rash people don't have enough to do more than enough.
Therefore, Lao Tzu said, "If you are light, you will lose your roots, and if you are restless, you will lose your king." "Heavy is light root, quiet is restless." Reality is flashy and restless, and often makes us impatient and adventurous, suffering from gains and losses. Only by adhering to the quietness of the heart and responding to changes with no change can we make fewer mistakes.
The quieter it is, the stronger the power, lao tzu said in the Tao Te Ching, "The Tao Rushes, and it is used or not profitable." "Punch and think.". Yin and yang neutralize each other, which is called punching, and the power is the most powerful at this time.
Without a quiet minute in the present moment, there is no day, a week, a month, a year. And a minute can be divided into countless quiet points, past and future, no one can grasp, only the present, is what we can control.
All things are constantly moving and changing, and only by clinging to the present and indifferent to Mingzhi can we keep quiet.
Keeping quiet is a kind of wisdom, but also a kind of strength, and only a strong wise person can keep quiet.
Tranquility is the great virtue possessed by heaven and earth, and tranquility is the avenue of heaven and earth.
Only those who keep quiet can be indifferent to their ambitions, open-minded and tolerant, and can truly have wisdom and strength. Quietness is a great power, and the quieter the power, the stronger it is.
The "jing" of "quiet is the right thing in the world" means quiet and inaction, that is, a state of harmony, harmony and unity. The "quiet" that we often say "calm and naturally cool" refers to the meaning of quiet, and "cool" is a kind of coolness that is felt after the mind is quiet.
When a person is upset, they will often have feelings of boredom and heat, which is largely the result of restlessness. When people have selfish desires, they have competition, and if they have competition, they will have the possibility of failure, and if they fail, they will feel pain. Pain has no end, and life is short, instead of wandering in the sea of suffering for a lifetime, why not enjoy life naturally and peacefully?
Still can overcome restlessness, and cold can overcome heat. Only those who are quiet and inactive can become the leaders of the world. In Lao Tzu's conception, stillness is absolute and movement is relative. According to the laws of nature, everything that is restless will return to tranquility, such as the ripples in the pond, the echoes of the valley, the shaking trees, the butterflies flying...
In the same way, man's beginning is also ignorant and desireless, and the human heart is also waveless, precisely because under the temptation of external objects and external desires, the heart becomes restless, and people begin to know gains and losses, beauty and ugliness, cold and heat, and so on. Without the interference of external objects, people will surely return to simplicity, and the mind will return to tranquility. And the way to reach this state is to "do nothing."
In the world, everything is interactive. It is difficult for people to transcend the world, and it is inevitable to say that it is long and short. But tranquility can make people pure in their hearts and desires, so that their body and mind are not disturbed by the outside world, and they can maintain physical and mental tranquility. At the same time, tranquility can make people do nothing and know how to choose. The world often says, "If your head is hot, you will do something stupid." Therefore, we must always remain quiet and rational. Despite the storm, I remained still as still as water, because only calm and composure could make the right choice.
