Classmate Lu is a capable girl, generous in conversation and clear in her thinking. In the 12th grade, she attended Austin College in Changzhou, which is represented by blue.

"The personality of our college students is very similar to the sea, the still water is deep, the surface is quiet and peaceful, but the heart is surging with unyielding strength." Speaking of her college, Lu is very proud.

In this year's application season, Lu has received an offer from Boston University, taking a solid step towards her "legal dream". In the future, she also plans to continue her studies at the Fa Master's Degree.

Reasons to choose WAIS

Lu entered Changzhou Wai ya in 2018, and before that, she had attended a middle school in the United States, which was a more liberal school, but Lu always felt that the overly loose learning atmosphere was not suitable for her, so she proposed to her parents to find a new school.

The family compared for a long time, and finally saw Changzhou Weiya at an exhibition, and Lu said that he could say that he was "in love at first sight" for the school.

Perhaps, lu students are in a variety of extracurricular development projects and even out-of-school development activities, seeing the infinite possibilities that Changzhou Waiya will bring her.

Among them, it is necessary to mention the "beyond classroom learning" WIA super course. In the summer of 2021, Lu completed a walking tour of Inner Mongolia with teachers and peers - they spent 4 days and hiked 75 kilometers to successfully cross the Hulunbuir Grassland.

Inner Mongolia walking tour

During these four days, they used only a map to locate the direction on the Hulunbuir grassland, most of the time along the farm path. Students are well-behaved and at ease with orientation and camping and cooking, thanks in large part to the fact that the school has often organized hiking camping trips before.

On the fourth day, they were also fortunate enough to see a herd of horses crossing the field, drinking water from a small nearby puddle. Later, I met a herdsman who told the children to always pay attention to driving cattle and sheep out of the field, because the grass in the field was a hoard of food for animals to spend the winter.

This experience, which is completely different from city life, has made every child involved gain a lot of new and exotic news, and it has also become a stroke of Lu's memories in Wai ya.

Bonded with the law

Classmate Lu has always been a child who likes to try everything.

During her four years at Changzhou Waiya, in addition to hiking through the Hulunbuir Grassland, she also led the organization of the school's outdoor adventure tour of Yunnan.

In addition, she led the girls of her college to shine and win awards in the annual college choir competition; she also explored freely in the fields of fine arts and biomedicine; strategized in business competitions, and fought in moot court...

In her IGCSE-level examinations, she took three subjects in mathematics, physics and chemistry, English language and English language and literature, art and photography, economics, business, and biology.

The endless stage provided by Changzhou Weiya allows her to bloom herself and explore with all her might; the character who loves to try everything has also been best cultivated and exercised in this fertile soil of education.

In the process of continuous experimentation and exploration, Lu students have been associated with law since after reading Plato's "Republic".

In fact, before this, no one in Lu's family had ever worked in law-related work, and I had hoped that she could go to business.

However, Lu's firmness still made her family make concessions, and since she decided to take this road, she will do her best to make sufficient preparations, which is her original intention to apply for Boston University, and it is also the starting point of all possibilities in the future.

Planning for the future

Before applying, Lu did not have a definite understanding of what a real lawyer looks like. Therefore, she strives to try to break down this cognitive barrier in various ways.

First of all, she found teachers in the school who had also studied related majors before, and through chatting with them, she gradually found out what a legal person should look like - logical and meticulous, active thinking, fortunately, this is also the outstanding trait of Lu Students;

Subsequently, she searched the Internet for real lawyer stories and legal cases, and also applied for a project from a well-known law professor, and participated in many moot court battles.

Through various channels, Lu learned that studying law is not an easy way. "But, I'm ready." Lu said confidently, "Even if you encounter difficulties, you can overcome them." ”

"There is no road in this world, but the more people who walk, the more they become the road", as the famous saying says, many roads depend on people to go out, the more they understand this profession and this profession, the more Firm Lu's belief in engaging in this line will be.

She's even got her way forward — to be a lawyer in patent law. After that, she will go to the United States to study, and the legal system will be very different from that in China, but patent law is internationally accepted.

On the one hand, you can broaden your horizons and study different legal systems from different perspectives; you can also dig deeper into the content that interests you from a more detailed perspective.

Looking back on his application season and the upcoming university campus life, Lu is excited and looking forward to it. She repeatedly stressed, "You must try more things to really find your passion." This also coincides with WAISA's long-standing educational philosophy of "every child is outstanding".

Maybe the road ahead is not easy, there are storms and storms, there are lonely nights, but when a person really finds a direction that he is willing to fight for, then nothing will stop him, the footsteps that run wild towards the dream!
