On February 23, a reporter from the Beijing News learned from Yu Yong, a special researcher at the Oral History Research Center of Nanjing University of the Arts, that the famous actor Du Yulu died of lung cancer at home in Harbin at 5 a.m. on February 21, at the age of 79. Jiang Ping, the official weibo of the Actors Working Committee of the China Television Association and Du Yulu's friend, also confirmed the news, "The universe is so big, we will still meet" is the last language left by Du Yulu to the world.
Born in 1941 in Tieling, Liaoning Province, Du Yulu was admitted to the Harbin Art School in 1959 to study acting, and in 1961 he was assigned to the Harbin Drama Theatre as a drama actor, where he played the main roles in the stage plays "Songtao Song", "Equatorial War Drum", "Dead Ring", "Gap and Treachery", and "Harbin at Night". Du Yulu stepped into the film and television circle by accident, and in 1979, he was invited to play the political commissar Gan Quan in the feature film "Treacherous Details" produced by Bayi Film Studio.

Later, Du Yulu played roles in many classic works, and in 1997, he played a generation of loyal ministers Zhang Tingyu in the TV series "Yongzheng Dynasty" starring Tang Guoqiang. In 2000, Du Yulu starred in the veteran soldier "Fang Yingda of the Military Region" in "Highlighting the Siege", and won the Best Actor Award at the 20th TV Series "Feitian Award" with this drama. The Draft History of the Qing Dynasty commented that Zhang Tingyu was "zhou min diligent and prudent... The amount of instruments is pure and complete, and the lyrical service is sincere", although Ao Bai is "good at forming a party and specializing, don't think about reforming", a public loyal country, a flying and stubborn, if you don't hold it well, it is easy to perform splits. In Du Yulu's performance, Zhang Tingyu is a good minister who adheres to principles and judges the situation, and is loyal to the pursuit of the heart. Ao Bai jumped out of his face and became the most distinctive Ao Bai, and he thought about how to guide the young emperor who was angry and pragmatic to the right path of being diligent in government affairs, at the expense of himself.
